Replacement carburetor 16-853-21S engineered to fit Kohler 7000 Series small engines (KT725, KT730, KT735, KT740, KT745) and supplied as a ready-to-install kit.

This aftermarket RADHLBNIU carburetor kit gives you a complete swap-in solution for aging or damaged carburetors on Kohler 7000 Series engines. It arrives with the primary hardware needed for installation—filters, gaskets, screws and a cleaning tool—so you can restore fuel delivery and engine response without hunting down individual parts. The unit is offered as a direct-fit replacement for common part numbers and is intended for routine maintenance or repair on compatible mower or power-equipment models.

How will this carburetor restore engine performance?

Installing this carburetor addresses uneven idling, hard starting, and poor throttle response that come from clogged or worn stock carburetors. The precision cast body and included sealing gaskets help re-establish proper fuel flow and mixture control, improving consistency during normal operation.

• Direct-fit design matched to Kohler 7000 Series mounting points and passages
• New fuel filter reduces debris reaching the carburetor
• Sealing gaskets minimize air or fuel leaks
• Cleaning tool included to clear jets for peak flow

What parts are included and why do they matter?

The package contains one carburetor and a short assortment of installation and maintenance parts so you can swap units quickly and set up the new unit correctly. These extras reduce the need to purchase separate consumables after installation and help ensure the carburetor seals and functions as intended.

• One replacement carburetor (16-853-21S compatible)
• One in-line fuel filter to trap sediment before it reaches the bowl
• Two gaskets for a reliable airtight seal at mounting surfaces
• Three screws for secure fastening and a carbon dirt jet cleaner for tuning

Is this carburetor easy to install and maintain?

The design targets users comfortable with basic small-engine work: remove the old carburetor, fit the gaskets, bolt this unit in place, and connect fuel and throttle linkages. Routine maintenance is straightforward with the included filter and cleaning tool to keep jets clear and fuel passages unobstructed.

• Direct-replacement form factor for simplified installation
• Basic hand tools required; no specialized equipment necessary
• Cleaning tool included to maintain jet openings
• Replace the fuel filter periodically to prevent clogging

How do I confirm compatibility before buying?

Some KT725-series engines may use different carburetor part numbers or configurations, so verifying the part number or comparing the old unit to product images prevents misorders. Cross-check mounting flanges, throttle linkage style, and fuel inlet location—these details determine fitment.

• Compare your original carburetor's part number to 16-853-21S or equivalent numbers
• Match mounting hole pattern and throttle linkage orientation
• Confirm the fuel inlet position aligns with your fuel hose routing
• Refer to photos and engine model compatibility before purchase
