RAM MOUNTS Long Double Socket Arm for C Size 1.5" Balls — 9.125" Reach, Marine-Grade Aluminum

RAM MOUNTS Long Double Socket Arm is a 9.125-inch, double-socket extension built for C size 1.5" RAM balls, offering wide-angle adjustability and rugged marine-grade construction.

This long double socket arm provides an extended, stable connection between two C size 1.5" RAM balls, ideal for repositioning electronics, cameras, GPS units, or other accessories where reach and flexibility matter. Constructed from powder-coated, marine-grade aluminum, the arm is engineered to resist corrosion and stand up to demanding outdoor and marine conditions. Its double ball-and-socket design enables near-infinite positioning while keeping a low profile and strong clamping force when tightened.

How does this arm extend my mounting options?

The 9.125" overall length (8" socket-to-socket) increases the distance between your device and the mounting base, letting you clear obstacles or achieve better sightlines. The double-socket configuration lets you angle and orient devices across two pivot points for precise alignment.

• Overall length: 9.125"; socket-to-socket: 8" for added reach
• Works with any C size 1.5" RAM ball components
• Two socket joints provide multi-axis adjustment

Will this hold up outdoors or in marine environments?

Yes — the arm is made from powder-coated, marine-grade aluminum to resist rust and corrosion in wet or salty conditions. The finish and materials are selected to provide long-term durability when exposed to weather, sunlight, and splash-prone environments.

• Marine-grade aluminum construction for corrosion resistance
• Powder-coated finish adds abrasion and weather protection
• Designed for repeated tightening without damage to the arm

How easy is it to adjust and secure my device?

The double ball-and-socket architecture lets you aim devices quickly by loosening the central knob, positioning the arm, then tightening for a secure hold. Because it uses standard C size 1.5" RAM balls, it pairs with many RAM bases and device holders for fast swaps and consistent performance.

• Single central knob tightens both sockets simultaneously
• Compatible with a wide range of RAM C size ball mounts and accessories
• Near-infinite adjustability without needing extra tools
