RED WOLF Rear License Plate Bracket for 2008–2024 Mercedes‑Benz — OEM Fit, UV‑Stable Plastic with Screws

RED WOLF rear license plate bracket is a direct-fit replacement for many 2008–2024 Mercedes‑Benz rear bumpers, supplied with mounting screws and a wrench for straightforward installation.

This bracket reproduces the OEM mounting location and dimensions (OE numbers 1698170211 / A0008101711) so you can securely attach a standard 6" x 12" US or Canada plate without obscuring registration stickers. Molded from UV-stabilized, heavy-duty plastic, the assembly resists fading and cracking for long-lasting roadside durability. A full compatibility list covers C‑Class, E‑Class, S‑Class, GLS, GLC, GLA, GL, Sprinter, V‑Class, Metris and several AMG variants across model years 2007–2024; some installations may require minor drilling if existing bumper holes do not align.

How does this bracket match my Mercedes‑Benz original part?

The bracket is manufactured to the same mounting footprint as the OEM item referenced by part numbers 1698170211 and A0008101711. It aligns with the factory rear bumper tag area so your plate sits flush and looks factory-installed.

• Exact OEM part number replacement for specified models.
• 6" x 12" opening fits North American plates without covering stickers.
• Molded mounting points designed to match factory bumper contours.

Will installation take special tools or modifications?

Basic hand tools are sufficient for most installs; RED WOLF supplies mounting screws and a wrench to simplify fitment. If your bumper’s existing holes are spaced differently, you may need to drill two small holes to secure the bracket—this is common when swapping aftermarket or damaged mounts.

• Includes screws and a wrench for quick attachment.
• Typical install time: minutes for aligned holes, longer if drilling is required.
• Instructions: clean mounting area, align bracket, fasten with supplied hardware.

What materials and durability can I expect from this license plate holder?

The bracket is made from reinforced, UV-stable plastic formulated to resist cracking, discoloration and road wear. Its construction keeps the plate securely in place while resisting impacts from weather and highway debris.

• UV stabilizers reduce sun fade for long-term color retention.
• Heavy-duty plastic offers impact resistance without metal corrosion.
• Designed to withstand typical road vibration and elements.

• Compatible C‑Class, E‑Class and S‑Class models across multiple years.
• Fits SUVs and vans such as GLS, GL, GLA, GLC, SPRINTER, V‑Class and METRIS.
• Check the detailed compatibility list for exact model-year fits before purchase.

Who is this for? Drivers and repair shops replacing a cracked, missing or non‑OEM rear plate bracket on compatible Mercedes‑Benz vehicles who want an OEM‑style fit without the dealer price. It's ideal for owners restoring factory appearance after minor rear bumper repairs, fleet managers keeping registration visible and mechanics needing a durable, ready-to-install replacement with hardware included. Always verify part numbers and vehicle fitment prior to installation; drilling may be necessary when existing bumper holes do not align with the bracket's mounting points.
