Restick Cordless Buffer Polisher — 6-inch Brushless Orbital, DEWALT 20V Compatible, 6-Speed

The Restick Cordless Buffer Polisher is a 6-inch, brushless dual-action orbital polisher that runs on DEWALT 20V MAX batteries to deliver high-power, portable polishing and waxing for cars, furniture and surfaces.

This upgraded 2026 Restick polisher is sold as a bare tool (battery and charger not included) and is engineered to accept DEWALT 20V lithium-ion packs for dependable runtime and torque. The brushless motor is tuned for stronger output and quieter operation than older brushed models, and the compact, cordless layout makes it practical for mobile detailers, DIYers and homeowners who want an efficient tool without a power cord. It comes with variable speed control, a Velcro pad backing for quick changes, and multiple pad compatibility for waxing, polishing, or light defect removal.

How powerful is the motor and what speeds can I expect?

The polisher uses a high-efficiency brushless motor rated up to 7500 RPM for peak output while offering controlled working speeds for different tasks. Speed is adjustable across six settings so you can match RPM to the job — from gentle waxing to more aggressive polishing and light defect removal. This combination gives both burst power and fine control.

• Brushless motor with 7500 RPM peak capability for improved torque and longer life.
• Six variable speed settings to match tasks from waxing to polishing.
• Lower speeds for waxing and delicate surfaces; higher speeds for compounding and oxidation removal.

Will my DEWALT 20V battery work with this Restick polisher?

Yes — the tool is designed to be compatible with DEWALT 20V MAX lithium-ion batteries (DCB200, DCB201, DCB203, DCB204, DCB205, DCB206, DCB207, DCB208, DCB210, DCB230, DCB240 and similar). Because the tool is sold without a battery, using a high-quality DEWALT pack will give better runtime and consistent performance compared with lower-grade third-party batteries.

• Bare tool only — batteries and chargers are not included in the package.
• Works with a wide range of DEWALT 20V MAX battery models for flexible power options.
• Using DEWALT OEM batteries improves runtime and tool responsiveness.

What attachments and surfaces can I use with this dual-action polisher?

The Restick dual-action design supports multiple Velcro-backed pads so you can swap foam, wool or microfiber pads depending on the job. It’s suitable for automotive paintwork, varnished wood, leather restoration, tiles and similar hard surfaces when used with the right pad and product. The Velcro interface simplifies pad changes and helps keep the work consistent and tidy.

• Velcro-backed backing plate for quick pad changes and secure fit.
• Compatible with foam, wool and microfiber pads for waxing, polishing, and light compounding.
• Use on cars, furniture, wood, leather and tile surfaces with appropriate compounds.

How portable and user-friendly is the design for regular use?

At about four pounds and cordless, this Restick polisher is lightweight and easy to maneuver around panels and tight spaces. The ergonomic shape and variable speed dial make it approachable for beginners while still offering the power needed by experienced detailers. The reduced noise profile of the brushless motor also improves comfort during longer sessions.

• Approximately 4 pounds for comfortable handheld operation and reduced fatigue.
• Cordless convenience lets you work anywhere without extension cords.
• Ergonomic design with speed control for better handling and task-specific adjustments.

Who is this for? The Restick Cordless Buffer Polisher (tool only) is aimed at car owners, mobile detailers, woodworkers and DIYers who already own DEWALT 20V batteries or plan to invest in DEWALT battery packs. It suits anyone who wants a portable, high-output dual-action polisher with flexible speed settings and quick pad changes for a variety of polishing, waxing and light defect-correction tasks. Note: purchase includes polisher only — battery and charger must be supplied separately.
