Riyitauto 5/16" (8mm) Inline Fuel Filter – Transparent Body, Brass Ends, Clamp Kit

Riyitauto 5/16" inline fuel filter is a clear-plastic, brass-ended in-line filter that cleans gasoline and protects engines on cars, trucks, tractors, motorcycles and RVs.

If you run a gas-powered engine that uses a 5/16" (8 mm ID) fuel line, this compact inline fuel filter removes debris and sediment before fuel reaches injectors or carburetors. Built with a transparent outer shell and an orange internal element, it lets you visually confirm contamination and service timing. The robust brass end caps and corrosion-resistant clamps make it suitable for workshop and field use across a wide temperature range.

How does this filter fit into my fuel system?

The Riyitauto filter connects directly into 5/16" fuel line with matching 5/16" fittings or connectors at each end. Installation is straightforward: cut the fuel hose, insert the filter inline, and secure with the supplied clamps. Because the shell is transparent, you can quickly verify flow and check the element for trapped particles.

• Compatible with 5/16" (8 mm inner diameter) fuel hoses
• Direct inline replacement—no special adapters required for standard fittings
• Transparent body for quick visual inspection
• Includes durable clamp hardware for secure sealing

What are the materials and durability features?

The housing is a clear plastic shell around an orange filtering element, finished with brass-plated metal end caps for secure hose attachment. The wall thickness and temperature tolerance are engineered for common automotive and agricultural environments. Clamps are made from 65Mn spring steel with colored zinc coating to resist corrosion and maintain a tight seal.

• Shell: clear plastic for visual monitoring
• End caps: metal brass for solid hose connections
• Clamps: 65Mn spring steel, corrosion-resistant zinc coating
• Temperature range: approximately -30°C to 120°C

What are the exact dimensions and specifications?

Knowing measurements helps avoid guesswork when replacing or upgrading filters. This Riyitauto unit lists the key dimensions so you can confirm compatibility with your vehicle’s fuel plumbing. The element and port sizes match standard 5/16" fuel line systems used across many small engines and vehicles.

• Overall length: 99 mm; overall width: 52 mm
• Fuel pipe port length: 90 mm
• Inner diameter: 8 mm; outer diameter: 12 mm; wall thickness: 3.1 mm
• Designed for 5/16" fuel line fittings at both ends

How easy is it to install and maintain?

Installation is quick for anyone familiar with simple fuel-line tasks: cut, insert, and clamp. The clear housing makes maintenance intervals obvious—replace the filter when the orange element shows visible contamination. Use the included clamps for a strong, leak-free connection and check clamp tightness after initial operation.

• Direct inline mounting—no special tools beyond cutters and a screwdriver
• Transparent case for simple visual replacement scheduling
• Strong clamp design prevents fuel leakage and hose damage
• Recommended: verify machine model and part numbers before purchase

Who is this for: technicians, DIY mechanics, farmers and recreational vehicle owners who need a reliable, visual inline fuel filter for 5/16" fuel systems. It suits small tractors, cars, trucks, motorcycles (GF 61 and similar), RVs and other gas-powered engines that use 8 mm internal diameter fuel hose and standard 5/16" fittings. Choose this filter when you want easy installation, visible contamination monitoring, and durable brass and steel hardware for longer life in field and garage environments.
