Riyitauto Ridstar Q20 Full-Twist Electric Bike Throttle Grip 7/8" Handlebar, Hall-Effect Smooth Acceleration

Riyitauto Ridstar Q20 Full Twist Throttle is a plug-and-play right-hand throttle grip designed to replace or upgrade throttle control on Ridstar Q20 series and most e-bikes, scooters, trikes and motorcycles.

This full-twist throttle grip fits standard 7/8" (22mm) handlebars and supports a wide voltage range (12V–72V), giving you an easy swap-in option for many electric two- and three-wheelers. Built from soft, textured rubber, the grip improves comfort and reduces hand fatigue while the integrated Hall-effect sensor delivers smoother, more predictable acceleration. The kit ships with keys, a spanner and ties so you can install it quickly and secure the lock for added theft deterrence.

How does this throttle improve ride control?

The Ridstar Q20 throttle uses a Hall-effect sensor for proportional, linear throttle response instead of a jerky on/off action. That makes it simpler to modulate speed in traffic, on commutes, or over uneven terrain.

• Sensitive Hall sensor for smooth acceleration and precise speed modulation
• Full-twist design gives fine-grain control across the grip range
• Rubber sleeve with anti-slip texture helps maintain grip when wet or gloved
• Stable signal output reduces sudden surges and enhances rider confidence

Will it fit my bike or scooter?

This throttle is made to work on standard 7/8" (22mm) handlebars and is electrically compatible with most e-bike systems across a broad voltage span. It’s sold as a universal replacement but you should confirm connector and wiring compatibility before purchase.

• Physical fit: 7/8" (22mm) handlebar compatibility
• Voltage support: 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V, 72V systems
• Compatible models include Ridstar Q20/Q20Lite/Q20Pro/H20/H26 Pro/H20 Pro and many other e-bikes, trikes, scooters and motorcycles
• Verify wiring pinout with seller if uncertain to avoid connection issues

How do I wire and install the throttle?

Installation is straightforward for anyone familiar with basic e-bike wiring: the throttle uses a 3-pin throttle signal connector and separate ignition/power wires. The package includes a spanner and ties to fasten the grip and lock assembly to the handlebar.

• Red wire: +5V reference
• Green wire: throttle signal output
• Black wire: ground (GND)
• Yellow + white: ignition switch wires; white is power input
• Package contents: right-hand throttle grip, spanner, four cable ties, two keys

What features increase comfort and security?

The grip combines a soft rubber surface with an anti-slip pattern and a keyed lock to make rides more comfortable and discourage tampering. Small touches like shock-absorbing material and included keys aim to make daily use and parking more convenient.

• Soft, cushioned rubber reduces fatigue on long rides
• Raised anti-slip texture improves control in rain or when wearing gloves
• Two included keys lock the throttle to deter theft or unauthorized use
• Shock absorption helps smooth hand impact over bumps

Who is this for? The Riyitauto Ridstar Q20 Full Twist Throttle is intended for riders who need a reliable aftermarket throttle replacement or upgrade for Ridstar Q20 series vehicles and other compatible e-bikes, scooters, trikes and small motorcycles. It’s best for DIYers and technicians comfortable with basic handlebar swaps and wiring checks, and for daily commuters, delivery riders, and recreational riders who want a more comfortable grip and smoother acceleration control. Always power off the vehicle and verify wiring compatibility before installation; contact the seller if you need assistance matching connectors or voltages.
