RVMATE RV Step Rugs 22 Inch 3-Pack — 100% Polyester Non‑Slip Textured Mats for Camper Steps

RVMATE RV Step Rugs are 22-inch, polyester 3-packs designed to protect steps, reduce slipping, and scrape away dirt on camper and RV entries. These low-profile step rugs attach to most RV and camper steps using included grommets and springs so you can add traction and a cleaner threshold in minutes. Built from double-layer 100% polyester, each mat is sized at 20 inches long by 22 inches wide and fits steps with depths between 8 and 10 inches; the design also works on slightly curved ladder steps where conventional mats fail. The package contains three rugs plus four sets of pairing grommets and springs so you can mount them at different positions or replace fasteners as needed.

How do these RV step rugs improve entry safety?

The textured surface and secure attachment lower the chance of slipping when entering or exiting the vehicle. Ridges on the face of the rugs scrape mud and grit from shoes while the high-friction backing stays in place once the fasteners are installed.

• Textured polyester surface for traction in wet or dry conditions
• Four sets of grommets and springs for a tight fit on variable step depths
• Works on curved ladders and standard flat steps

Will these rugs fit my RV steps and how easy is installation?

Each rug measures 22 inches wide and 20 inches long and is built for steps with 8–10 inch depths. The included grommets and spring clips allow straightforward attachment; you can reposition or remove a mat quickly for cleaning or storage.

• Fits steps 8 to 10 inches deep; accommodates curved step shapes
• Four pairing grommets and springs allow multiple mounting options
• Quick-connect design makes removal and reattachment simple

How do you clean and maintain RVMATE step rugs?

These rugs are made of durable polyester that resists wear and wipes or rinses clean easily. For routine care, shake off debris, brush or hose the mats, and let them air-dry before reinstalling to prevent trapped moisture.

• 100% polyester double-layer construction resists abrasion
• Shake, brush, or hose off dirt; air-dry before reattaching
• Replaceable fasteners let you wash rugs without tools

What additional protections do the rugs provide for my RV and family?

Besides traction, the rugs reduce heat transfer from sun-heated metal steps and trap dirt before it reaches the interior floor. Their surface helps keep the cabin cleaner and shields feet from hot step surfaces after prolonged sun exposure.

• Helps prevent hot-step discomfort on sun-exposed metal stairs
• Scrapes off dirt to keep interiors cleaner and reduce wear
• Useful for families, seniors, children, and pets for safer entries

Who is this for? These RVMATE RV Step Rugs are intended for RV owners, camper renters, and outdoor enthusiasts who want an affordable way to boost step traction, protect bare feet from hot surfaces, and keep vehicle interiors cleaner. They suit families traveling with children or pets, older adults who need steadier footing, and anyone who needs a removable, easy-to-clean mat solution for flat or slightly curved RV steps.
