SONAX Polymer Net Shield aerosol spray sealant 340ml — up to 6 months protection, high-gloss hydrophobic finish

SONAX Polymer Net Shield is an aerosol polymer spray sealant that creates a durable, high-gloss protective layer on automotive paint that repels water and contaminants for up to six months.

Designed for fast, effective paint protection, SONAX Polymer Net Shield blends organic and inorganic polymers into a sprayable formula that refreshes color, enhances gloss, and simplifies cleaning. Its aerosol delivery makes even coverage easy while delivering hydrophobic performance and UV resistance. This product is positioned as a wax-free hybrid sealant that complements professional paint-care routines and home detailing alike.

How quickly can I apply SONAX Polymer Net Shield and what’s the process?

Application is fast and requires minimal equipment: you can spray directly onto the painted surface or onto a foam applicator, spread evenly, then buff to a high gloss. The aerosol format reduces drips and helps achieve consistent coverage across panels, making it suitable for single-handed use or a two-person team for larger vehicles.

• Shake can well before use and work panel by panel for best control.
• Spray short bursts ~20–30 cm from the surface or onto a soft applicator pad.
• Spread product with circular motions, allow a short flash, then buff off with a clean microfiber cloth.
• Safe on paint, trim, and plastics when used as directed.

What kind of protection does it provide and how long does it last?

SONAX Polymer Net Shield forms a resilient polymer network that shields paint from UV exposure, acid rain residues, bird droppings, and general airborne contaminants. While longevity varies with conditions and maintenance, it is engineered to maintain protective and hydrophobic properties for up to six months under normal use.

• Hybrid organic–inorganic polymers for weather resistance.
• UV filtering and anti-static surface properties reduce fading and dust cling.
• High water beading helps prevent dirt adhesion between washes.
• Performance depends on climate, washing frequency, and surface prep.

Will it improve the car’s appearance and is it safe on different surfaces?

The formula enhances color depth and produces a glass-like shine that brings out crisp reflections on painted panels. Because it is wax-free and formulated for broad compatibility, it can be applied to paint, exterior plastic, and trim without leaving oily residues when removed correctly.

• Delivers a high-gloss finish that deepens color perception.
• Produces strong water-beading for easier rinsing and drying.
• Non-waxy finish reduces spotting and streaking after buffing.
• Test an inconspicuous area when used on aftermarket coatings or delicate trim.

How does this product fit into a regular detailing routine?

Use SONAX Polymer Net Shield after washing and claying (if needed) and after any paint correction or polishing step. It serves as a quick sealant between more durable ceramic coatings or as regular maintenance protection to maintain gloss and hydrophobic performance between deeper treatments.

• Apply on clean, dry paint for best adhesion and longevity.
• Works well as a top-up after a monthly or seasonal wash.
• Compatible with professional-grade coatings as an interim sealant.
• Reapply as maintenance every few months depending on exposure.

Who is this for: SONAX Polymer Net Shield is aimed at car owners and detailers who want a fast, reliable aerosol sealant that boosts shine and repels water without the time investment of multi-step ceramic installations. It's ideal for busy drivers seeking easier washes, enthusiasts who regularly polish their paint, and mobile detailers who need a portable product that offers professional-grade weather resistance and visible gloss enhancement.
