Sorello Intake Manifold Gasket Set for GM Trucks & SUVs — Replaces 89060413/MS98016T, Rubberized Heat-Resistant Seal

Sorello Engine Intake Manifold Gasket Set replaces OE 89060413 / MS98016T to restore a reliable, leak-free intake seal for compatible GM trucks and SUVs.

When intake manifold gaskets fail they can cause vacuum leaks, rough idle, decreased fuel efficiency, and engine bay noise. This Sorello gasket set is engineered to match original equipment fit and function while using a rubberized compound designed to resist heat and chemical exposure in the intake environment. The set is sold as a complete replacement for common OE numbers including 89060413 and MS98016T and fits a wide range of Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, Buick, Isuzu, Hummer and Saab models—verify fitment before installing.

Which vehicles will this Sorello intake gasket set fit?

This gasket set covers many GM platforms from late-1990s through mid-2010s model years. It lists multiple OE interchange numbers so you can cross-reference with your factory part number or VIN to confirm compatibility.

• Covers Chevrolet: Avalanche, Colorado, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, Trailblazer models (see product fitment list).
• Covers GMC: Canyon, Envoy, Savana, Sierra, Yukon/Yukon XL across listed years.
• Also fits Buick Rainier, Isuzu Ascender, Cadillac Escalade variants, Hummer H2/H3/H3T, and Saab 9-7x where specified.
• Always check the vehicle selector or the part numbers (89060413, MS98016T, MS92211, etc.) before purchasing.

How does the gasket set improve engine reliability?

The gaskets are molded from a rubberized sealing compound that maintains contact under heat cycles and vibration, minimizing intake leaks that can upset air/fuel mixture and drivability. By restoring a proper seal, the set helps reduce the risk of intake manifold vacuum loss and associated symptoms.

• Rubberized compound resists oil, coolant vapors, and temperature swings.
• Precision form matches OEM sealing surfaces for secure fit.
• Durable construction helps extend service intervals versus brittle, aged gaskets.

Will installing this gasket set reduce engine noise and heat transfer?

Yes—the design helps isolate noise and thermal transfer from the intake plenum to the engine bay. A proper seal prevents whistling or ticking noises caused by air leaks and reduces hot spots by limiting heat conduction through gaps.

• Seals intake ports to minimize whistling and rough-idle noises from leaks.
• Helps contain and redirect heat away from external engine components.
• Installation follows original specifications, avoiding the need for modifications.

What should I know before replacing intake manifold gaskets?

Preparation and correct fit are important: clean mating surfaces, inspect bolts and surrounding components, and confirm the OE interchange numbers match your vehicle. The Sorello set is designed for both professional mechanics and experienced DIYers, but using proper torque values and sequences ensures a durable seal.

• Verify compatibility with your VIN or factory part number before ordering.
• Clean mating surfaces thoroughly and replace any damaged fasteners or seals.
• Follow manufacturer torque specs and sequence for even sealing pressure.

Who is this for: Drivers and technicians who need a direct-fit replacement intake manifold gasket set for GM trucks and SUVs—especially owners of Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, Buick, Isuzu, Hummer and Saab models listed in the fitment. It’s best for those looking to restore proper intake sealing, reduce engine noise, and return drivability without custom modifications. Confirm part cross-reference numbers and vehicle year/model before purchase to ensure the correct fit.
