SPEARHEAD Cabin Air Filter BE-450 — Odor Defense with Coconut Shell Carbon, 15,000‑Mile Life

SPEARHEAD Breathe Easy BE-450 is a heavy-duty cabin air filter with real coconut shell activated carbon that reduces odors and captures fine particles for Wrangler (2018–2025) and Gladiator (2020–2025).

Designed as a direct replacement for specific Jeep models, the SPEARHEAD Odor Defense Breathe Easy AC & Heater Cabin Air Filter (BE-450) combines thick electrostatic media with dense coconut shell activated carbon to trap dust, pollen and gases before they enter the cabin. Engineered for longer life and improved contaminant adsorption, this filter balances durability with easy, do-it-yourself installation — an aftermarket upgrade that fits the stock tray and comes with an installation manual.

How does the BE-450 improve in-cabin air compared to a standard filter?

The BE-450 uses multi-layer pleated media with electrostatic charge plus a heavy layer of real coconut shell activated carbon to capture both particles and odor-causing gases. This combination targets fine particulates and airborne contaminants that standard paper filters often miss.

• Electrostatic media attracts submicron particles like pollen and vehicle exhaust residue
• Thicker, industrial-strength construction resists compression and airflow collapse
• Coconut shell carbon adsorbs odors, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and fumes

How long will this cabin filter last in my Jeep?

SPEARHEAD rates the BE-450 for up to 15,000 miles of service under typical driving conditions, which is about 25% longer than the common 12,000-mile baseline for standard cabin filters. Actual lifespan depends on driving environment — dusty or urban areas can shorten service intervals.

• Rated service life up to 15,000 miles under normal use
• Replace sooner in heavy dust, off-road, or polluted-city driving
• Simple visual inspection helps determine earlier replacement needs

Will the BE-450 fit my vehicle and is installation difficult?

The BE-450 is manufactured as a direct replacement for Jeep Wrangler model years 2018–2025 and Jeep Gladiator 2020–2025. SPEARHEAD recommends verifying fitment using the vehicle filter-lookup tool on the product page before ordering. Installation is straightforward and intended for DIY service, with an installation manual included with every order.

• Direct replacement for 2018–2025 Wrangler and 2020–2025 Gladiator
• Fitment verification tool available on the product page
• Includes step-by-step installation manual for easy DIY replacement

What sets this filter’s construction apart from cheaper alternatives?

The BE-450 is built with 2X the material mass of standard cabin filters and uses precision-woven media to maintain airflow while increasing particle capture. The denser pleats and quality activated carbon make it more effective at both filtration and odor control without significantly restricting ventilation.

• Two times heavier media than standard filters for improved capture efficiency
• Precision-woven pleats resist collapse and maintain consistent airflow
• Real coconut shell activated carbon for higher adsorption capacity

Who is this for: The SPEARHEAD Breathe Easy BE-450 is aimed at Jeep owners who want a higher-performance cabin air filter that reduces odors and fine particulates, lasts longer than stock filters, and is simple to install at home. If you drive a 2018–2025 Wrangler or a 2020–2025 Gladiator and you spend time in dusty, urban, or odorous environments, this filter offers a noticeable step up in filtration and longevity without complex installation or vehicle modification.
