Spurtar Gloss Black Vinyl Wrap 6in x 20ft — High-Gloss, Air-Release Car Trim Wrap for Chrome Delete

Spurtar Gloss Black Vinyl Wrap is a 6 inch x 20ft air-release adhesive car vinyl tape designed to black out trim, protect surfaces, and deliver a high-gloss chrome-delete finish.

This gloss black wrap roll combines a premium, paint-safe adhesive with a durable, high-shine vinyl film to transform exterior trim and accents on cars, motorcycles, boats, and more. The 6" x 20ft dimension gives enough material for multiple projects or a full trim blackout, while the air-release backing and repositionable tack make DIY installs easier for hobbyists and professionals alike. Included tools and installation tips help contour the film around curves, edges, and complex surfaces without leaving residue when removed.

What surfaces can I use this vinyl tape on?

The Spurtar gloss black wrap is formulated for many exterior and interior surfaces, including metal trim, plastic moldings, mirror housings, pillars, spoilers, and door edges. It adheres well to smooth, clean substrates and handles mild compound curves once heat-formed.

• Automotive trim: window bezels, pillars, side moldings, emblems
• Accessories: mirrors, spoilers, roof rails
• Other uses: motorcycle parts, boat accents, home decor projects
• Not recommended for highly textured or freshly painted surfaces

How easy is installation for a DIYer?

Installation is approachable for beginners and faster for experienced users. The low-initial-tack, repositionable adhesive lets you lift and realign the film during placement; using a heat gun and the included yellow squeegee smooths wrinkles and helps the vinyl conform to curves.

• Start with a clean, dry surface free of wax or oils
• Use a heat gun for tight curves and edges to activate adhesive
• Trim excess with a sharp blade and tuck edges for a finished look
• Allow 8+ hours for full bond before washing or heavy use

Will the wrap damage my paint or leave residue?

Spurtar's low-initial-tack adhesive is designed to be paint-safe and removable when used as directed. If removed properly and not left under extreme heat for prolonged periods, the film should peel away cleanly without harming original paint or chrome finishes.

• Removes cleanly when peeled slowly at a low angle
• Avoid prolonged exposure to high-temp engine bays or direct heat sources
• Test a small, inconspicuous area if paint is older or previously compromised
• Do not use on freshly painted surfaces until fully cured per paint manufacturer's guidance

How durable is the glossy finish and how long will it last?

The film offers multi-year protection and a high-gloss appearance that resists light scratches, nicks, and environmental contaminants. Durability varies with climate, care, and surface preparation, but typical performance extends for several years under normal road conditions.

• Gloss finish resists common road debris and light abrasions
• Protects trim from salt, sand, and daily wear
• Recommended maintenance: gentle wash, avoid abrasive polishes
• Store unused roll away from direct sunlight and heat

Who is this for? The Spurtar Gloss Black Vinyl Wrap roll is ideal for car enthusiasts, detail shops, and DIYers wanting a professional chrome-delete look without permanent paint work. It's useful for drivers aiming to update trim aesthetics, shield vulnerable edges, or add custom accents across multiple vehicles. If you need a versatile, removable, and glossy black solution for exterior detailing that balances ease of installation with robust protection, this 6" x 20ft roll is a practical choice.
