STAR BRITE Ultimate Matte Finish Speed Detailer & UV Protectant — Matte-safe, Waterless Cleaner and Polymer Protectant

STAR BRITE Ultimate Matte Finish Speed Detailer & UV Protectant is a fast, waterless cleaner and polymer-based protectant engineered to clean, enhance, and shield matte, satin, denim, and other flat finishes without adding shine.

Maintaining non-gloss finishes requires a different approach than polishing lacquered surfaces. This formula lifts dirt and light grime, leaves no oily or glossy residue, and deposits a thin polymer barrier to help resist UV fading, fingerprints, and moisture. It’s wax- and silicone-free so it won’t clog texture pores or change the intended appearance of a matte surface.

How does this product remove dirt without adding shine?

The detailer uses cleaning agents formulated for low-sheen materials that break adhesion between dirt and the surface. Dirt can be wiped away with a microfiber cloth while the finish remains flat. No fillers or gloss-restoring silicones are included that would alter the look.

• Waterless cleaning action for quick touch-ups
• Non-reflective formulation designed for flat paints and trims
• Safe on matte clearcoats, vinyl, and textured surfaces

Will it protect matte surfaces from sun and weathering?

Yes — lightweight polymers bond to the surface to create a protective layer that helps limit ultraviolet damage and slow fading. This film also reduces how easily dust and fingerprints stick, extending the time between cleanings without producing gloss.

• Polymer barrier to help resist UV exposure
• Repels moisture and light contaminants
• Leaves texture intact while helping prevent premature weathering

Can I use it on heat-exposed parts and multiple materials?

The formula is versatile and safe for several substrates commonly found on vehicles and outdoor gear. It is suitable for painted matte panels, satin trims, matte vinyl, and even some high-temperature surfaces like exhaust covers when applied per directions. Always test a small inconspicuous area first on unfamiliar materials.

• Compatible with automotive matte paints and satin finishes
• Works on matte vinyl, plastics, and trim pieces
• Approved for some high-temperature metal parts when used sparingly

How should I apply the detailer for best results?

For quick touch-ups, spray onto a clean microfiber cloth and wipe the surface in overlapping passes. For heavier soiling, spray directly onto the area, agitate lightly with a soft towel, then buff off with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid over-application; thin, even layers preserve the matte look.

• Use soft microfiber cloths to avoid abrasion
• Work in shaded, cool conditions for even coverage
• Test an inconspicuous spot before first use
