Tackform DuraLock 20 Series 2" Metal Double-Socket Arm — Black, 20mm Balls, Ultra-Short 1.3" Reach, Optional Anti-Theft

A compact, ultra-short 2" metal double-socket arm that secures 20mm ball-mounted devices with a single knob and optional anti-theft lock for added protection.

This Tackform DuraLock 20 Series arm is engineered to join two 20mm ball sockets in an extremely short reach configuration, delivering rock-solid mounting for phones, GPS units, and other accessories. Machined metal construction and a focused load-capacity design make it suitable where tight clearances and ultra-stable positioning matter. The optional patent-pending anti-theft knob adds deterrence against quick-snatch incidents without changing the arm's core function.

How does this arm fit my existing 20mm mounting system?

The DuraLock 20 Series uses standard 20mm ball interfaces and is compatible with many popular platforms such as Bulletpoint, 67 Designs, and iBOLT. It will snap into sockets designed for 20mm balls, but it is not compatible with larger 25.4mm / 1" systems. Tackform highlights tested durability and an engineered safety factor to distinguish its parts from generic replacements.

• Standard 20mm ball compatibility with Bulletpoint, 67 Designs, iBOLT, and similar brands
• Not compatible with 25.4mm / 1" (B-sized) ball systems
• Precision-machined metal for tighter tolerances and consistent fit

What makes the ultra-short reach useful for mounting accessories?

At a ball center-to-ball center measurement of only 1.3", this is Tackform's shortest double-socket arm, designed for minimal profile and maximum stability. The short span reduces leverage on the mounting point, minimizing movement on rough roads or off-road trails. Its single-knob operation allows quick repositioning and then firm locking for zero expected slip under intended loads.

• 1.3" ball center-to-ball center for minimal extension and reduced leverage
• Single-knob tightening for fast adjustments and full lock-down
• Metal construction resists flexing better than polymer arms

How does the optional anti-theft knob work and when should I use it?

The optional anti-theft knob is a patent-pending add-on that helps deter quick-snatch attempts by preventing easy ball release from the socket unless the correct action is taken. It increases security in public or high-risk environments like crowded parking areas or exposed motorcycle stops. While not mandatory for all users, it’s a simple upgrade for those concerned about theft or accidental loosening.

• Patent-pending anti-theft knob prevents accidental or quick removal
• Adds a layer of deterrence in public or unsecured settings
• Can be selected when ordering based on security needs

Will this arm handle heavier devices and rough use?

Tackform designs the DuraLock 20 Series with an engineered load capacity and tested durability beyond many generic 20mm parts. While it’s built to be robust, always confirm the combined weight and torque of your device and mount to ensure safe use. The short reach and metal construction reduce strain on mounting points, improving long-term reliability in demanding conditions.

• Engineered safety factor and tested durability compared to generic options
• Short reach lowers torque on the mounting base for rough-terrain resilience
• Ideal for medium-weight phones, GPS units, and small cameras when used within load limits

Who is this for: The Tackform 2" DuraLock 20 Series arm is made for riders, off-roaders, and installers who need the smallest possible double-socket link with dependable metal construction. Choose this arm if you require a low-profile mounting solution that reduces leverage, offers quick single-knob adjustments, and provides an option for extra theft deterrence. Avoid this product if your setup uses 25.4mm/1" ball systems or if you need long-reach positioning.
