Tarrago Leather Filling Paste 50ml — Black #18 leather repair filler for cracks, holes & burns, sandable paintable finish

Tarrago Filling Paste is a 50ml leather and synthetic-leather repair compound that fills cracks, holes and burns to create a smooth, paintable surface for professional-looking restorations.

If you want to hide surface damage on car seats, sofas, shoes or leather clothing without replacing the item, this concentrated paste restores surface continuity and prepares areas for color-matching. Formulated to bond with both genuine and synthetic leathers, the product dries to a uniform texture that accepts dye or paint so the repair blends with the surrounding finish.

How does this filler fix cracks, cuts and small holes?

The paste is a thick, spreadable compound designed to level depressions and seal open edges. Applied in thin layers, it builds body where leather has lost material, and once dry it sands and textures to match the original grain before recoloring.

• Apply with a spatula or roller in successive thin coats for even build-up.
• Dries to a sandable surface that hides depressions and seams.
• Accepts paints and dyes for a blended color finish.

Will it work on synthetic leather and different household items?

Yes — the formulation bonds to both genuine and synthetic leather, so it’s suitable across many items. From car upholstery and couches to bags, belts and footwear, it restores surface continuity without altering texture when applied correctly.

• Safe for furniture, car seats, shoes, jackets, purses and wallets.
• Maintains original feel and flexibility after curing.
• Use on smooth and slightly textured surfaces; test on a hidden area first.

How do I apply, dry and finish the repair for the best result?

Begin by cleaning the area of dust, oils and loose fibres. Spread the paste thinly, allow roughly an hour to dry between layers, then sand lightly to shape; finish by applying matching dye or paint for a uniform look.

• Clean with a mild leather cleaner and let fully dry before filling.
• Build up with several thin coats, not one thick layer, for even curing.
• Sand and texture after curing, then color-match using leather paint or dye.

Does the product come ready-to-use and what color options exist?

The 50ml jar is supplied ready to apply — no mixing required — in a neutral black shade (Black #18). After drying, you can overcoat the filled area with any suitable Tarrago leather paint or dye to match the surrounding color precisely.

• Ready-to-apply paste in a compact 50ml jar for small to medium repairs.
