TCP Global Air Undercoating Spray Gun — Suction Feed, Die-Cast Aluminum, Adjustable Texture Control

The TCP Global Air Undercoating Spray Gun with Suction Feed Cup is a pneumatic sprayer built for applying undercoatings, rustproofing, chip guard and bedliner coatings with precise texture control.

This lightweight, die-cast aluminum finishing gun accepts standard U.S. 1-quart bottles and delivers consistent spray patterns for oil-, solvent- and water-based coatings. Engineered to serve both professional shops and hands-on DIYers, the tool balances comfort, durability and adjustability so you can lay down protective coatings faster and with less fatigue. It’s designed to handle a range of viscosities and achieve different surface textures, from fine sealing coats to coarse stone-chip protection.

How does this gun manage different coating viscosities and textures?

The TCP Global gun uses precision-machined internal passages and a variable air cap to control atomization and pattern shape. Adjustments on the fluid needle and air intake let you tune spray thickness and texture without changing equipment.

• Adjustable fluid needle for thin to thick coatings
• Interchangeable air/spray pattern control for narrow to wide fan
• Works with oil-, solvent- and water-based formulas
• Balanced weight minimizes operator fatigue during long runs

What bottle types and coatings are compatible with the sprayer?

The gun accepts standard U.S. 1-quart bottles and common aerosol-style cans with 1.75-inch outside diameter threads, giving you flexibility in materials. Note that it won’t fit certain 1-liter specialty bottles like UPOL or Custom Coat; verify bottle thread type before purchasing.

• Fits 1-quart bottles with 1.75" OD threads
• Compatible with undercoating, bedliner, chip guard and rustproofing products
• Accepts oil, solvent and water-based coatings
• Not compatible with UPOL or Custom Coat 1L bottle styles

How durable and comfortable is the gun for professional use?

Built from die-cast aluminum alloy, the sprayer resists shop wear while remaining light enough for extended use. The ergonomically shaped trigger handle improves control and comfort, and the balanced body reduces wrist strain on long jobs.

• Die-cast aluminum alloy body for strength and lightness
• Easy-grip trigger handle for reduced hand fatigue
• Precisely machined components for long-term reliability
• Serviceable parts for maintenance and extended life

How do I get consistent results quickly on a vehicle underbody or truck bed?

Set your air pressure and fluid adjustment to match the coating manufacturer’s recommendation, then test on scrap material to dial in the texture. Work methodically in overlapping passes and maintain a steady distance for even coverage.

• Follow coating supplier pressure and thinning guidance
• Maintain consistent 6–12 inch spray distance for most coatings
• Use overlapping passes for uniform texture and thickness
• Flush with recommended solvent after use to prevent clogging

Who is this for: The TCP Global Air Undercoating Spray Gun is aimed at autobody shops, restoration specialists, fleet maintenance teams and serious DIYers who need a rugged, adjustable sprayer for rustproofing, bedliners and chip protection. If you require controlled texture options, compatibility with common 1-quart containers, and a tool built for frequent use, this gun is a practical choice. It’s not the right fit only if you must use proprietary 1-liter bottle systems (for example UPOL or Custom Coat bottles).
