TonGass RV Waste Valve Extension Kit 2-Pack — 6in & 9in Aluminum Adjustable Tubes, UV-Stable Handle

TonGass 2-Pack Universal Fit RV Waste Valve Replacement Kit provides two adjustable aluminum extension tubes, hardware, and an optional bracket to extend or replace your RV dump valve handles quickly and reliably.

If your RV’s waste gate handle is hard to reach, stripped, or needs a longer reach to clear cabinetry and hookups, this kit supplies two lengths of corrosion-resistant extension tubes plus the studs, locking nut and optional bracket required for a solid installation. The set includes a 6-inch and a 9-inch tube that screw onto standard valve shafts, letting you customize reach in 2" increments with the threaded stud adjustment. Components are built from aluminum and include a UV-stabilized handle to resist sun exposure on seasonal rigs.

How do these extension tubes fit my existing RV waste valve?

The TonGass kit is engineered for universal compatibility with many standard waste gate valves. Each tube threads onto the valve shaft and secures with the included threaded stud and locking nut, creating a tight connection that restores or increases handle reach. The design accommodates common shaft diameters and thread pitches used in RV systems.

• Includes 6" and 9" threaded aluminum tubes for flexible reach.
• Threaded studs allow 2" incremental adjustment for precise fit.
• Locking nut secures the extension to prevent wobble or slippage.
• Optional mounting bracket for additional stability where needed.

What tools and steps are needed to install the TonGass valve extensions?

Installation is straightforward and designed for DIY RV owners. You’ll typically need simple hand tools—wrenches and possibly pliers—to remove the old handle and thread the new extension onto the valve shaft. The threaded design simplifies alignment and tightening without special adapters.

• Basic tools: adjustable wrench and pliers are usually sufficient.
• Remove existing handle, thread extension onto shaft, insert stud, tighten nut.
• Use mounting bracket if extra support or anchoring is required.
• Installation time is commonly under 30 minutes for one valve.

Will these parts withstand outdoor RV conditions and regular use?

Yes—the extension tubes are aluminum, chosen for corrosion resistance and a favorable strength-to-weight ratio for RV applications. The handle is UV-stabilized to limit sun degradation, and the hardware is designed to resist regular opening and closing cycles encountered on seasonal or full-time rigs. Proper installation and occasional inspection will maximize service life.

• Aluminum tubes resist rust and keep weight low.
• UV-stabilized handle reduces sun-related fading and brittleness.
• Threaded connection minimizes play for reliable operation.
• Optional bracket adds support under vibration or heavy use.

Who is this for: The TonGass 2-Pack Universal Fit RV Waste Valve Replacement Kit is ideal for RV owners, fleet managers, and DIY technicians who need a quick, durable way to extend or replace waste valve handles—especially when original handles are too short, damaged, or inaccessible. It suits travel trailers, fifth-wheels, motorhomes and campers that use standard waste gate valve shafts and benefit from corrosion-resistant, easy-to-install replacement parts. If you want a straightforward kit with multiple length options and the hardware to complete the job without specialty parts, this set provides a practical, long-lasting solution.
