Turtle Wax Color Magic Car Paintwork Polish Black 500ml — Restores Colour & Gloss

Turtle Wax 52708 Color Magic Black is a colour-restoring paintwork polish that cleans, enhances black paint depth and leaves a long-lasting glossy finish in a single 500ml bottle.

Designed for black and dark-coloured vehicles, this ready-to-use formula lifts light surface contaminants, subtly boosts pigment and seals with a shine-enhancing layer. The updated formula focuses on colour enhancement while remaining simple to apply by hand or machine. It’s intended as a cosmetic maintenance step between full paint corrections — not as a cure for deep scratches or severe clearcoat damage.

How do I use Turtle Wax Color Magic on my car?

Application is quick: start with a clean, cool surface, apply a small amount and work one panel at a time until the product hazes, then remove and buff to reveal colour depth and gloss. Always test an inconspicuous area first to confirm compatibility with your paint.

• Step 1: Wash and dry the vehicle thoroughly.
• Step 2: Shake bottle, apply sparingly to a damp foam applicator or cloth.
• Step 3: Spread evenly, allow to haze, then wipe off and buff for shine.
• Tip: Work in cool shade and avoid applying to hot panels.

What visible benefits will I see after using it?

The polish cleans light surface dirt, fills minor imperfections and adds a pigment boost that increases the perceived depth of black paint. You’ll notice improved gloss and a richer colour tone immediately after buffing.

• Removes light surface contaminants and dust.
• Enhances black pigment for deeper visual colour.
• Leaves a glossy surface with reduced hazing.
• Provides temporary protection between washes.

Can I use this polish with a machine polisher or by hand?

Turtle Wax Color Magic is formulated for both hand and low-speed machine application. For best results and control, many users prefer a foam pad on a dual-action polisher, but gentle hand application using a foam applicator works well for regular maintenance.

• Hand use: apply with a damp foam or microfiber cloth for small jobs.
• Machine use: compatible with low-speed, dual-action polishers and foam pads.
• Avoid aggressive rotary polishers that risk clearcoat damage.
• Test small area first to determine ideal pressure and speed.

How long does the effect last and does it protect the paint?

The product delivers a long-lasting cosmetic boost and temporary protection that helps repel light dirt and water spots for weeks, depending on driving conditions. It’s not a replacement for dedicated sealants or ceramic coatings but reduces the need for frequent light polishing.

• Provides short- to mid-term surface protection following application.
• Best used as part of routine maintenance every few washes.
• Not intended as a structural repair for scratches or clearcoat failure.
• Reapply when gloss and colour depth begin to fade.

Who is this for: Turtle Wax 52708 Color Magic Black 500ml suits car owners, detailers and enthusiasts who want a fast, user-friendly way to refresh black and dark paintwork without professional intervention. It’s ideal for weekly or monthly upkeep to maintain a showroom-like appearance between deeper corrections. If your car has extensive scratches, oxidation or clearcoat lifting, consider a professional paint correction first and then use Color Magic for ongoing maintenance.
