UIABOPZ Tailgate Ladder for Pickup Truck 34"–42" Adjustable Fold-Up Step, Heavy‑Duty 350 lb Capacity, Non‑Slip Wide Pedal

UIABOPZ Tailgate Ladder is an adjustable, heavy‑duty pickup truck step that folds up against the tailgate to give safe, non‑slip access to the truck bed with a 350 lb capacity.

Loading and unloading a pickup should be simple and secure. This universal tailgate ladder fits most full‑size and light‑duty pickups with bed‑to‑ground heights between 34" and 42" and tailgate widths of at least 50". Built from rust‑resistant metal with a powder coat finish and wide anti‑slip steps, it folds away for compact storage and includes all hardware for a straightforward installation.

How does this ladder attach and how long does installation take?

Mounting the ladder requires basic tools and can be completed in under 30 minutes. The kit supplies multiple mounting screws so you can install it on either side of the tailgate and adapt to different tailgate thicknesses.

• Includes four types of mounting screws for flexible fitment
• Installs with an electric drill and common hand tools
• Can be mounted on driver or passenger side without permanent modification
• Installation time typically under half an hour for one person

Will this ladder fit my truck and support my gear?

The ladder adjusts between 34" and 42" so it suits most pickup bed heights; the tailgate must be at least 50" wide. Its heavy‑gauge metal construction and anti‑rust coating allow a rated load of up to 350 pounds for person plus light cargo.

• Adjustable range: 34"–42" for bed‑to‑ground height
• Minimum tailgate width requirement: 50"
• Fits common models like Ford F‑Series, Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, Dodge Ram, Toyota Hilux
• Rated capacity: 350 lbs with reinforced frame

What safety features prevent slipping, rattling, and corrosion?

Wide aluminum steps with textured, non‑slip surfaces provide stable footing in wet or muddy conditions. Anti‑rattle pads and secure straps hold the ladder against the tailgate when folded so it won’t clang while driving, and the powder coat finish resists rust for long‑term durability.

• Wide anti‑slip aluminum pedal for confident footing
• Two securing straps lock the ladder in storage position
• Anti‑rattle pads minimize noise during transit
• Corrosion‑resistant powder coating for year‑round use

How does the ladder store and what convenience does it add?

When not in use the ladder folds up and stays attached to the tailgate, keeping the bed clear and removing the need to unbolt the unit after each use. Quick deployment and compact storage make it practical for frequent loading tasks, outdoor work, and recreational trips alike.

• Folds up against tailgate for compact storage
• No disassembly required between uses
• Straps and pads keep it firmly in place while driving
• Saves space versus removable step stools or ramps

Who is this for? The UIABOPZ Tailgate Ladder is ideal for pickup owners who regularly access their truck beds—contractors, landscapers, weekend adventurers, and anyone who needs safer, easier ingress without bulky ramps. It suits people who want a durable, easy‑to‑install step that stays attached to the tailgate and reduces strain when loading, unloading, or reaching cargo.
