Venum Kontact Elbow Protector - Black/Black, One Size — Lightweight Slip-On with Hook-and-Loop Strap

The Venum Kontact Elbow Protector is a lightweight, slip-on elbow guard designed to let fighters train and spar with elbow strikes more safely while preserving mobility.

Built for Mixed Martial Arts, Muay Thai and other striking arts, this black-on-black elbow protector balances impact coverage with breathability so you can keep training longer without discomfort. The Kontact combines elasticated cotton for moisture management, a reinforced synthetic exterior for abrasion resistance, and a hook-and-loop strap to lock the guard in place. It’s machine-washable and compact enough to toss in your gym bag, making it a practical choice for athletes who need reliable elbow protection during pad work, clinch drills and light sparring.

How does the Kontact elbow protector protect my training partner during elbow strikes?

The Kontact adds a layer of padding and a smooth outer surface to blunt the force and friction of elbow strikes, reducing direct skin-to-skin contact. It’s designed to cover the bony points of the elbow while still allowing natural movement in clinches and transitions.

• Reinforced synthetic exterior to diffuse friction and abrasion.
• Padded interior to cushion impact without bulk.
• Smooth surface reduces snagging during clinch and grappling.
• One-size slip-on fit that conforms to most adult elbows.

Will these stay in place during intense rounds or grappling?

The protector uses an adjustable hook-and-loop strap to secure the sleeve and prevent slippage when you move, grapple or strike. The elasticated cotton fabric also helps the sleeve grip the arm comfortably, so it won’t roll down during dynamic training.

• Hook-and-loop closure for quick, custom tightening.
• Elasticated cotton provides a snug, non-restrictive fit.
• Low-profile design avoids interference with elbow flexion.
• Slip-on construction makes adjustments fast between rounds.

How does the Kontact feel during long sessions and is it easy to care for?

This protector prioritizes breathability and moisture management so your elbow area stays drier and more comfortable during extended workouts. When the session is over, the Kontact is machine-washable for simple, hygienic maintenance.

• Elasticated cotton interior wicks sweat away from skin.
• Ventilation-friendly design reduces overheating under wraps and gloves.
• Durable materials withstand repeated wash cycles and rough training.
• Quick to dry and ready for your next session.

What martial arts and situations is this elbow protector best suited for?

The Kontact is made for fighters who use elbow strikes or need elbow padding during clinch work, sparring and partner drills across multiple disciplines. It’s versatile enough for MMA, Muay Thai, BJJ and general striking practice where controlled contact matters.

• Ideal for Muay Thai and elbow-intensive striking drills.
• Useful in MMA training where elbows are part of the arsenal.
• Helpful during light sparring to lower partner friction and marks.
• Compatible with grappling and clinch-focused sessions.
