VEVOR's 2000 lb ATV Winch is a compact 12V electric recovery winch with a 39 ft steel cable and IP55 protection designed to pull small ATVs and UTVs out of mud or obstacles.

Built for trail riders, utility riders, and light-duty towing tasks, this VEVOR winch combines a 0.95 HP permanent-magnet motor with a 153:1 planetary gear reduction to produce a dependable 2,000 lb line pull. The winch ships with a 5/32 in by 39 ft seven-strand steel cable, a roller fairlead, and a wired remote to simplify self-recovery without battery-dependent fobs. Its waterproofed components and color-coded wiring help keep setup straightforward in outdoor conditions.

How much pulling power can this winch deliver on the trail?

The VEVOR winch delivers a rated 2,000 lb line pull—sized for ATVs, UTVs, and light utility tasks. The combination of a permanent-magnet motor and a 153:1 gear train enables steady, controlled retrieval under load.

• Rated capacity: 2,000 pounds line pull
• Motor: 12V DC, 0.95 HP permanent-magnet copper motor
• Gear ratio: 153:1 planetary gear set for torque multiplication
• Use case: small vehicle recovery, light towing, stuck-vehicle extraction

What cable, fairlead, and control features come with the winch?

This winch includes a 7-strand steel cable (5/32 in × 39 ft) and a roller fairlead to guide the line smoothly under load. A wired remote with waterproof housing is supplied for reliable operation in wet or muddy conditions without depending on batteries.

• Cable: 7-strand steel, corrosion-resistant construction with red trail markers
• Fairlead: roller style to reduce cable wear and friction
• Remote: wired, waterproof, corrosion-resistant casing for durability
• Visibility: last five wraps marked in red for quick inspection

Is the winch weatherproof and easy to install?

The unit is engineered with an IP55-rated housing and a matte black finish that resists rust and provides basic spray protection. Color-coded power leads and clear instructions simplify mounting and hook-up to a 12V battery on most ATVs or UTVs.

• Ingress protection: IP55 for dust protection and water spray resistance
• Finish: black matte for corrosion resistance and insulation
• Wiring: color-coded power cables for faster, safer installation
• Documentation: straightforward instructions included for setup

How does this winch perform during repeated or difficult recovery tasks?

The robust motor and planetary gearing provide consistent performance for frequent recovery work within its rated capacity. The steel cable and roller fairlead are designed to withstand abrasive conditions, and the motor’s build supports steady operation during moderate-duty cycles.

• Durability: heavy-duty 7-strand cable resists kinking and abrasion
• Thermal behavior: motor and gearing suited for repeated moderate pulls
• Reliability: wired remote avoids wireless interference and battery failure
• Maintenance: simple visual checks for cable wear and marked wraps

Who is this for? The VEVOR 2000 lb ATV Winch is ideal for ATV and UTV owners, ranchers, and outdoor enthusiasts who need a compact, reliable recovery tool for mud, ditches, or light towing. It’s also a good fit for fleet managers of small off-road vehicles and anyone who prefers a wired remote for dependable operation in wet, cold, or remote conditions.
