WHEELZEN Engine & Cabin Air Filter Kit for 2013–2024 Lexus GS/IS/RC — Direct-Fit, Activated-Carbon

WHEELZEN’s Engine & Cabin Air Filter Kit is a direct-fit replacement set engineered to restore clean airflow to your Lexus’s engine intake and passenger cabin.

If your Lexus is due for routine maintenance, this paired engine and cabin filter bundle replaces several factory part numbers and fits a wide range of GS, IS and RC models from 2013 through 2024. Each filter is built to trap dust, road debris and particulates, while the cabin element adds an activated-carbon layer to help control odors and reduce airborne contaminants. The kit ships as a complete pair so you can refresh both engine performance and in-cabin air quality in one service session.

Which Lexus models and part numbers does this kit replace?

This kit is matched to numerous factory references and model years, making it suitable for many Lexus GS, IS and RC variants. It covers both engine and cabin applications, ensuring fitment for multiple engine types including 2.0L turbo, 2.5L V6 and 3.5L V6, as well as hybrid models.

• Engine part numbers replaced: 17801-31170, 17801-38040, 1780131170, 1780138040, CA10996.
• Cabin part numbers replaced: 87139-30100, 87139-YZZ38, 8713930100, 87139YZZ38, CF10074.
• Fits: GS200T, GS300, GS350, GS450H; IS200T, IS250, IS300, IS350; RC200T, RC300, RC350 across listed years.

How do these filters improve vehicle performance and comfort?

Fresh filters reduce restriction to engine airflow and block contaminants that can accelerate wear; the cabin element improves passenger comfort by removing dust and odors. Together they support smoother throttle response, more efficient combustion, and cleaner air inside the cabin.

• Engine filter traps fine particles to protect the intake system and MAF sensor.
• Cabin filter uses activated carbon to help neutralize odors and airborne pollutants.
• Lower particulate load helps maintain HVAC efficiency and interior air quality.

Is installation difficult and what comes in the package?

Installation is straightforward: both items are designed as direct replacements with no trimming or modifications required. The kit provides the two filters needed for a routine maintenance interval so you can complete the job in a single visit or service bay session.

• Package includes: 1 engine air filter and 1 cabin air filter.
• No tools beyond basic hand tools are typically required; follow the vehicle manual for access points.
• Direct-fit design reduces installation time and risk of improper seating.

What materials and quality features are included in these filters?

Both elements are manufactured from durable media formulated to capture dust and debris while withstanding normal operating temperatures. The cabin element’s activated-carbon layer helps adsorb odors and volatile compounds without making health claims; it simply improves perceived cabin air freshness.

• Engine filter: high-efficiency pleated media for extended dust-holding capacity.
• Cabin filter: multi-layer media including activated carbon for odor control.
• Quality construction to ensure correct sealing and long service intervals under normal driving conditions.
