A-Premium Front Evaporator Core for Chevrolet & GMC — Aluminum Plate-and-Fin Direct-Fit

A-Premium Front AC Evaporator Core is a direct-fit aluminum plate-and-fin replacement engineered to restore reliable cabin cooling for select Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac trucks and SUVs from the mid-1990s to early 2000s.

This evaporator core is designed to match original equipment fit and function for a range of Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac models. Built from aluminum using a plate-and-fin construction, it provides efficient refrigerant-to-air heat transfer while meeting OE-style dimensions and mounting points. The unit is sold new and includes a one-year unlimited-mileage guarantee from A-Premium.

Which vehicles will this evaporator core fit?

The A-Premium front evaporator core is compatible with many Chevrolet and GMC full-size trucks and SUVs plus select Cadillac models across specific years. • Cross-reference numbers: EV6794PFXC, 156794, 54598, 52464036

How does this evaporator core improve AC performance?

Replacing a worn or leaking evaporator restores refrigerant containment and improves the system’s heat exchange capability, helping the air conditioning deliver colder air. The plate-and-fin aluminum design balances weight and thermal conductivity for effective cooling without excessive bulk.

• Plate-and-fin construction for consistent heat transfer
• Aluminum material for corrosion resistance and lightweight strength
• OE-style dimensions to maintain airflow patterns and blend-door function
• Designed to prevent refrigerant leaks and reduce cabin humidity buildup

What installation and compatibility details should I know?

This evaporator is intended as a front-location component and replaces the factory unit without modification on compatible vehicles. It is manufactured to OE fitment tolerances, but professional installation is recommended to ensure system integrity and correct refrigerant charging.

• Location: front evaporator core, not a heater core
• Type: plate & fin; Material: aluminum
• Sold new; engineered for direct fit to original mounting points
• Professional recharge and leak test advised after installation

What warranty and quality assurances come with the part?

A-Premium supplies this evaporator core new and backs it with a one-year unlimited-mileage guarantee. The part is produced to meet OEM-style standards, so buyers get a reliable replacement without the uncertainty of salvaged or remanufactured units.

• 100% brand new unit built to OE-style specifications
• One-year unlimited-mileage warranty included
• Manufactured for consistent fit, heat absorption, and build quality
• Sold with reference numbers for easy cross-referencing during purchase
