Aekops Propane Tank Gauge & Leak Detector 2-Pack — Brass CSA-Certified Visual Level Indicator for 5–40 lb QCC1 Tanks

Aekops propane tank gauge and leak detector is a CSA-certified, brass-mounted pressure indicator that shows tank level and includes an automatic over-flow safety shutoff for 5–40 lb tanks.

Keep track of your portable propane supply and reduce guesswork with this two-pack of Aekops tank-mounted gauges. Designed for standard QCC1 connections on 5–40-pound cylinders, each unit combines a clear color-zone level indicator with a built-in safety valve and durable brass construction. The device is easy to install by hand, resists corrosion, and includes a dust cap for outdoor storage.

How does the gauge show propane level at a glance?

The Aekops indicator uses a simple color-coded pressure display so you can tell fuel status without tools. Temperatures and pressure changes will affect readings slightly, but the three-zone layout gives reliable visual guidance.

• Green zone: indicates a full-ish tank.
• Yellow zone: warns you that fuel is getting low.
• Red zone: shows the tank is nearly empty and needs refilling.

Will this fit my propane tank and appliances?

This model works with standard disposable and refillable tanks between 5 and 40 pounds that use QCC1-style fittings. It’s intended for low-to-medium flow uses; the built-in safety shutoff restricts excessive flow and isn’t recommended for high-flow fixtures.

• Compatible with most 5–40 lb portable propane cylinders.
• Standard QCC1 connector for easy attachment.
• Not recommended for tanks heavier than 40 lb or high-flow equipment.

What safety and durability features does it offer?

The gauge is CSA certified and built from quality brass for long-term airtight sealing and resistance to weathering. A practical dust cap keeps the connection clean, and the over-flow safety shutoff helps limit accidental excessive gas flow.

• CSA certification for everyday safe use.
• Solid brass body and precision threads for a secure seal.
• Dust cap included to protect the valve when stored outdoors.

How easy is it to install and check for leaks?

Installation is tool-free: hand-tighten with the knurled handwheel until snug, open the tank valve, and read the pressure indicator. Always perform a soapy-water leak test after setup to confirm airtight connections before use.

• Tool-free hand-tightening for quick setup.
• Displays pressure immediately once the valve is opened.
• Recommended soapy-water test to verify leak-free connections.

Who this is for: The Aekops Propane Tank Gauge & Leak Detector 2-pack is aimed at RV owners, grillers, tailgaters, and anyone using portable 5–40 lb propane cylinders who wants a simple visual fuel check plus an extra layer of flow protection. It suits people who prefer a rugged brass fitting and a quick, tool-free install, but it is not intended for heavy industrial or high-flow appliances. If you need an easy-to-read tank level indicator that’s CSA certified and built for regular outdoor use, this unit offers a practical and affordable solution.
