AP Products 2" x 25' Flex Air Duct for Portable ACs — 2" Diameter, Lightweight Flexible Routing

AP Products 013-665 is a 2" diameter, 25-foot flexible air duct designed to route conditioned air or exhaust in compact HVAC and portable air conditioner installations.

This lightweight, long-length flex duct provides a convenient way to extend or redirect airflow where rigid ducting won’t fit. Made in the United States, the 013-665 is packaged to be compact for storage or jobsite transport and suits temporary or semi-permanent venting needs for air conditioning applications. Its narrow 2" diameter and 25' reach make it especially useful for tight runs, behind appliances, or where multiple bends are required.

How do I use this flex air duct with portable AC units?

Use the 2" x 25' flex duct to extend the exhaust or supply line from a portable air conditioner when the built-in hose is too short or routing requires extra length. Secure both ends with clamps or foil tape to ensure proper airflow and reduce leaks.

• Attach to unit outlet with a hose clamp or zip-tie and foil-backed tape
• Route through window kits or wall panels, avoiding sharp kinks
• Trim to length as needed with utility scissors
• Coil and store easily when not in use

What makes the 013-665 suitable for tight or complex duct runs?

The small 2" diameter and flexible construction let this duct bend around corners and fit into narrow cavities where standard rigid ductwork cannot. Its 25-foot length minimizes the need for joints, reducing potential leak points and simplifying installation across longer distances.

• Narrow diameter for compact spaces and appliance backs
• Flexible body allows multi-directional routing without custom fittings
• Long single piece reduces the number of connections required
• Lightweight for easy one-person handling

How durable and portable is this flex duct for jobsite or home use?

Packaged at about 2.0 pounds, the AP Products 013-665 is easy to carry and install. While designed for HVAC and air conditioner use, proper handling—avoiding excessive stretching or contact with sharp objects—helps maintain performance over repeated installations.

• Lightweight 2.0 lb package weight for straightforward transport
• Compact packaging dimensions for storage or shipping (approx. 11.176 cm x 12.7 cm x 71.882 cm)
• Typical application suited to temporary or semi-permanent ducting needs
• Manufactured in the United States for consistent quality control

Will this duct work with my existing HVAC fittings and clamps?

The 2" diameter fits many small-diameter HVAC connections and accessory fittings commonly used for portable air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and local ventilation. Check the unit’s outlet diameter and secure with the appropriate clamp size to maintain a snug seal.

• Compatible with small outlet ports and accessory connectors
• Use standard hose clamps, zip-ties, or HVAC foil tape for secure seals
• Trim cleanly for a snug fit where necessary
• Avoid overstretching which can alter diameter and seal integrity

Who is this for: The AP Products 013-665 2" x 25' Flex Air Duct is intended for homeowners, installers, and contractors who need a lightweight, long-reach solution for routing airflow in constrained spaces. It’s particularly useful for portable air conditioner exhausts, short-run ventilation, and temporary HVAC modifications where a compact, flexible duct is preferable to rigid pipe.
