Bosch QuietCast Front Ceramic Brake Pads BC1455 — OE Fit, Low-Dust Quiet Performance

BOSCH BC1455 QuietCast is a front-pads axle set engineered to deliver quiet, low-dust braking with OE-style fit and long-lasting corrosion resistance.

Built on decades of Bosch brake development, the QuietCast BC1455 front brake pad set combines a carefully formulated ceramic friction compound, advanced multilayer molded shim technology, and rust-resistant backing plates to provide dependable stopping power for compatible Dodge, Jeep, and Mercedes-Benz models. The package arrives ready for installation with pads for one axle, a hardware kit where applicable, and synthetic lubricant to reduce drag at sliding contact points. Verify vehicle fitment using the fit checker to ensure proper match for trim and engine variations.

How does QuietCast reduce noise during braking?

QuietCast uses Bosch's Molded Shim Technology (MST) and pre-attached OE-style multilayer rubber-core shims to damp vibration and minimize squeal. The tight bond between the rubber shim and steel backing improves noise suppression while preserving pad integrity under load.

• Molded shim prevents movement that creates squeal
• Multilayer rubber-core design absorbs vibration for quieter stops
• Pre-attached shim ensures consistent factory-style performance

What performance and wear characteristics can I expect?

The BC1455 pads use a proprietary ceramic friction formulation tuned for stable stopping power, low dust generation, and consistent pedal feel. Powder-coated backing plates resist rust so the pad maintains fit and reliability over time, helping extend service life when compared with untreated alternatives.

• Ceramic compound engineered for steady friction and low dust
• Powder-coated backing plates for corrosion resistance
• Slots and chamfers mimic OE geometry for even pad wear

What comes in the box and is it installation-ready?

Each BC1455 package includes front pads for one axle and, where applicable, the necessary hardware kit and a small tube of synthetic lubricant. These components reduce drag at slider points and facilitate a straightforward replacement that mirrors original equipment installation.

• Pads for two wheels (one axle) pre-shimmed for noise control
• Hardware kit included when required for a complete install
• Synthetic lubricant provided for sliding contact points to reduce resistance
