Bosch QuietCast Rear Ceramic Brake Pad Set BC536 — Rear Axle, Low Dust & Noise-Reducing

BOSCH BC536 QuietCast rear ceramic disc brake pads deliver OE-style stopping power with engineered noise control and low dust for two-wheel rear axle replacements.

Built from Bosch’s long experience in braking systems, the QuietCast BC536 pads combine a proprietary ceramic friction compound with Molded Shim Technology (MST) and powder-coated backing plates to balance performance, longevity, and reduced noise. This rear axle set includes pads for both wheels, plus a hardware kit (when applicable) and synthetic lubricant to ease installation and minimize drag on sliding components.

How do these pads reduce brake noise?

The QuietCast line uses Bosch’s pre-attached multilayer rubber-core shims and MST to damp vibrations that cause squeal. The integrated shim is bonded to the steel backing under factory-controlled conditions for consistent performance and quieter stops.

• OE-style multilayer rubber-core shim permanently attached for vibration control
• Molded Shim Technology (MST) improves bond strength between rubber and steel
• Chamfers and slots reduce edge stress and rotor harmonics that create noise

What kind of braking performance and wear characteristics can I expect?

The ceramic-based friction formula is engineered for steady stopping power across normal driving conditions while producing minimal brake dust. Powder-coated backing plates resist corrosion, helping maintain pad integrity and consistent wear over time.

• Ceramic friction material designed for dependable stopping and reduced dust
• Durable powder-coated backing plates for longer service life
• OE-style slots and chamfers promote even pad contact and consistent wear

Will these pads fit my vehicle and come ready to install?

BC536 is a rear axle set compatible with many Acura, Honda and Isuzu applications—fitment can vary by trim, engine, and model year, so confirm fitment with the vehicle checker before purchase. The box includes pads for one axle, and where applicable, hardware and synthetic lubricant are provided to streamline installation and reduce sliding resistance.

• Set includes two pads (one axle) plus hardware kit where available
• Synthetic lubricant included to ease caliper slide function and installation
• Confirm exact vehicle trim and year with the fitment tool before ordering

How does Bosch quality stand out compared with other replacement pads?

Bosch leverages decades of OEM braking development and patented features that emphasize fit, finish, and function. QuietCast pads are produced to meet OE-style specifications and incorporate targeted innovations—like MST and pre-attached shims—to reduce noise and improve durability versus many aftermarket alternatives.

• Over 80 years of Bosch braking design experience carried into QuietCast engineering
• Manufactured to OE-style fit and performance standards for predictable operation
• Proprietary materials and coatings for reduced dust and extended pad life

Who is this for: The BOSCH BC536 QuietCast rear ceramic brake pad set is aimed at drivers who want an OE-quality replacement for compatible Acura, Honda, and Isuzu models, prioritizing quieter stops, low dust, and corrosion resistance. It’s well suited for routine street driving and for vehicle owners who value straightforward installation—especially mechanics and DIYers replacing a single rear axle. Always verify fitment for your exact model and trim before purchase.
