BougeRV 23Qt Portable 12V Compressor Refrigerator Freezer — Black, Fast Cooling & Low Energy

BougeRV CR22 is a 23‑quart 12V portable compressor freezer that cools down rapidly to as low as -8°F while using low wattage and running quietly for vehicle, RV, and outdoor use.

This compact compressor refrigerator is built for travel: it arrives ready to run on 12V/24V DC or AC power, includes both DC and AC cords, and is engineered for fast cooling, low energy draw, and battery protection. At about 22.3 lb and under 23 inches long, it fits in SUVs, vans and campers and keeps food and drinks cold without ice, making it useful for road trips, tailgates, boating and overland adventures.

How quickly will this portable freezer chill food and drinks?

The CR22 uses compressor refrigeration to reach cold temperatures fast without ice. It can drop from 77°F to 32°F in around 15 minutes and reach approximately -5°F in about 50 minutes under typical conditions, so you can cool groceries and beverages shortly after loading.

• Fast compressor cooling: 77°F to 32°F in ~15 minutes.
• Deep-freeze capability: about 50 minutes to reach roughly -5°F from room temperature.
• No ice needed — saves space and prevents melting messes.
• 23 quart capacity fits several meal packs or multiple beverage cans.

What kind of power and energy efficiency does the BougeRV CR22 offer?

This model is designed to be energy-conscious while delivering cooling power. It operates around 45W in ECO mode and up to 60W on MAX, consuming well under 1 kWh per day thanks to efficient compressor cycles and insulation.

• Works on 12V/24V DC and included 120V AC cord for home or campsite use.
• ECO mode lowers draw to roughly 45W for extended runs from vehicle or portable power.
• MAX mode available when faster cooling is needed (about 60W).
• Smart cycling reduces average daily energy consumption.

Is the refrigerator quiet and rugged enough for travel?

The CR22 is tuned for low operational noise (about 45 dB) so it won’t disturb sleep in a parked vehicle or campsite. It also includes shock-resistant design and can operate reliably on uneven ground or with a vehicle tilt up to 30° off‑road.

• Low noise operation—around 45 dB—for restful nights on the road.
• Shock-proof construction to handle bumps and rough terrain.
• Stable performance when tilted up to 30° for off‑level situations.
• Compact, lightweight build at about 22.27 lb for easier placement.

How does the CR22 protect my vehicle battery and what accessories are included?
