Camco RV Roof Vent Cover for 14x14 Vents — White Low-Profile Aerodynamic Hood with Insect Screen

Camco's RV Roof Vent Cover is a durable, aerodynamic resin hood that fits over 14" x 14" vents to provide continuous airflow, weather protection, and built-in insect screening while allowing vent operation.

This vent cover replaces standard dome-style vents with a low-profile, high-flow alternative designed for RVs. It installs over a 14-inch x 14-inch roof vent and creates ventilation that works whether the vent is open or closed, while keeping rain and bugs out. Constructed from resilient white resin, the cover is built for long-term outdoor exposure and includes removable louvers for easy maintenance.

How will this vent cover affect airflow inside my RV?

The aerodynamic hood is engineered to let air move freely through an open vent without creating drag or trapping moisture. It promotes continuous circulation even in light rain, improving interior comfort without requiring the vent to be closed.

• Designed for high-flow ventilation to maintain steady airflow
• Works with the vent open so you can ventilate during mild weather
• Built-in insect screen prevents pests from entering while allowing air movement

Will the cover stop rain or require vent modifications?

The cover deflects precipitation away from the vent opening so you can keep the vent open during most wet conditions. No permanent modifications to the existing 14" x 14" roof vent are required; it mounts directly over the vent with included hardware.

• Aerodynamic shape sheds water to reduce rain ingress
• Installs over existing 14" x 14" vents—no cutting or vent replacement needed
• Mounting hardware included for straightforward installation

How do I clean and maintain the Camco vent cover?

Routine upkeep is simple: the louvers are removable to give you access for wiping away dirt and debris. The durable resin resists staining and UV damage, and replacement insect screens are available separately if needed.

• Removable louvers for easy cleaning and maintenance
• Durable resin construction resists sun and weather wear
• Replacement insect screen available as Camco #40439 (sold separately)
