Chemical Guys Extreme Bodywash & Wax Car Wash Soap 1 Gallon — Carnauba Wax Boost & High-Foam Cleaning

Chemical Guys Extreme Bodywash & Wax is a 2-in-1, high-foaming car wash that cleans and deposits natural carnauba wax for improved shine and water beading in a single wash.

Built for enthusiasts and detailers who want fewer steps and professional results, this one-gallon formula produces thick, clinging suds that lift dirt while leaving behind a protective wax layer. The pH-balanced recipe is gentle on paint and safe over existing waxes, sealants, and coatings, while its slick lubrication helps reduce surface marring during rinsing and washing. A light grape scent makes routine maintenance more pleasant without overpowering.

How does this soap protect paint while washing?

The wash contains premium carnauba wax that bonds to the surface as the wash rinses, creating a hydrophobic layer that encourages water to bead and roll off. Its high-lubricity foam lifts grime away from the surface, reducing the chance of swirl marks from wash mitts or brushes.

• Natural carnauba wax polymers for added gloss and water beading
• Clinging foam that encapsulates dirt to minimize abrasion
• pH-balanced formula safe for frequent use and over coatings

Can I use it with foam cannons, guns, or a two-bucket wash?

Yes — the concentrate is formulated to create dense, long-lasting suds with foam cannons and foam guns, and it performs equally well in a traditional two-bucket method. The product’s lubricity and suds stability make it versatile for many wash setups and pressure levels.

• Works with pressure-washer foam cannons or garden-hose foam guns
• Compatible with two-bucket washing to reduce cross-contamination
• Concentrated formula — mix ratios adjust for foam strength or gentler cleaning

Is this safe on other exterior surfaces besides paint?

Extreme Bodywash & Wax is formulated for all exterior surfaces, including glass, plastic, chrome, wheels, and trim. Its gentle, pH-balanced chemistry cleans without stripping existing protection, so it’s appropriate for cars, trucks, motorcycles, RVs, and boats.

• Safe for painted finishes and clear coats
• Effective on metal, plastic, and glass without dulling trim
• Suitable for a wide range of vehicle types and finishes

What kind of finish and scent can I expect after washing?

After rinsing, surfaces show enhanced depth and gloss thanks to the carnauba boost, with improved water beading between washes. The formulation includes a subtle grape fragrance to provide a fresh scent while you work.

• Slick, glossy finish with added depth from natural wax
• Hydrophobic effect helps reduce spotting and dirt re-adhesion
• Light grape scent keeps the wash experience pleasant

Who is this for: Chemical Guys Extreme Bodywash & Wax is aimed at car owners who want fewer detailing steps without sacrificing results — from weekend DIY detailers to professional shops that need a reliable, high-foam wash that also boosts shine. It’s especially useful for anyone maintaining daily drivers, show cars, motorcycles, RVs, or boats who values convenience, surface protection, and an enhanced finish after every wash.
