Chemical Guys Megalodon Twisted Loop Microfiber Drying Towel 24x36 in — Extra-Large, Super-Plush High-Absorbency

If you wash cars, trucks, motorcycles, or RVs and want a faster, safer drying step, this 24 x 36 inch Megalodon towel uses twisted loop fibers to trap water while staying gentle on paint and glass. It’s built thicker than standard towels so each pass collects more moisture and reduces the number of swaps needed during detailing. The towel’s pile and construction are optimized to lift water away from surfaces rather than drag it across, lowering the chance of swirl marks or streaks when used correctly.

How does the twisted loop fiber make drying faster and safer?

Twisted loop microfiber has a textured, open surface that soaks up water and holds it inside the fiber structure. That design increases absorption capacity and prevents pooling on the surface, meaning you remove more water per swipe without rubbing abrasive grit across paint.

• Higher water-holding volume than flat microfiber towels
• Textured loops lift water and contaminants away from clear coat
• Reduced friction for smoother gliding over surfaces

Will this towel fit large vehicles and reduce towel changes?

Yes — the oversized 24" x 36" format covers more area per pass than standard 16" x 24" towels, so you complete drying with fewer towels and less time. The extra width and length are especially helpful on hoods, doors, and RV panels where a larger coverage area matters.

• Extra-large dimensions for fast coverage of hoods and doors
• Fewer swaps during full-vehicle drying cycles
• Works efficiently on cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, and RVs

Is the Megalodon towel gentle enough for clear coats and glass?

The towel is made from ultra-plush microfiber that balances softness with durability, so it glides across paint and glass without scratching when used clean. For safe results, rinse or shake out grit frequently and fold the towel to use a fresh face as needed.

• Super-plush pile protects painted surfaces and glass
• Recommended to use clean towel faces to avoid trapping debris
• Non-abrasive fibers reduce the risk of marring when used properly

How should I care for this microfiber drying towel to keep performance?

Proper washing and storage preserve absorption and softness. Avoid fabric softeners and high-heat drying; wash in warm water with a mild detergent and tumble-dry low or air dry to maintain fiber loft.

• Machine wash warm with mild detergent, no fabric softener
• Tumble dry low or air dry to protect fibers
• Store folded in a clean, dry place away from contaminants

Who is this for: Detailers, hobbyists, and vehicle owners who want a high-capacity drying towel that speeds up the post-wash step without compromising surface safety. The Megalodon towel suits anyone who prefers fewer towel changes, needs full-vehicle coverage, and values a non-abrasive microfiber designed for professional-level results.
