Chemical Guys Ultimate Car Wash Bucket Kit — 4.5‑gal with Dirt Trap, Chenille Mitt & Citrus Soap

Chemical Guys Ultimate Car Wash Bucket Kit is a complete scratch-reducing starter set that includes a 4.5‑gallon bucket, Dirt Trap insert, chenille wash mitt, Gamma Seal lid and 16 oz Citrus Wash & Gloss soap.

This all-in-one detailing bundle gives hobbyists and pros the essential tools to wash vehicles more safely and effectively. The kit combines mechanical protection from the Dirt Trap, the gentle cleaning action of a microfiber chenille mitt, and a citrus-based high-suds soap to lift grime without aggressive abrasion. Everything fits in the durable bucket, and the Gamma Seal lid doubles as a storage solution or quick seat at the driveway.

How does the Dirt Trap reduce the chance of scratches when washing?

The Dirt Trap is a perforated bucket insert that captures grit and debris that fall off your wash mitt, keeping contaminants away from the cleaning surface. By isolating abrasive particles at the bottom of the bucket, it prevents them from being re‑introduced to the mitt and rubbed across paintwork.

• Perforated design channels dirt below the cleaning zone
• Compatible with the included 4.5‑gallon bucket for secure fit
• Reduces swirl marks by minimizing abrasive contact

What makes the chenille microfiber mitt and soap a safer wash combination?

The chenille microfiber mitt provides soft, dense fibers that trap dirt inside the pile rather than dragging it across surfaces. Paired with the citrus-based Citrus Wash & Gloss, which produces thick, lubricating suds, the mitt glides more easily and lifts road film away from paint and trim.

• Chenille fibers lift and hold contaminants for rinsing
• Citrus Wash formula creates slick, lubricating foam
• Safe for clear coat, vinyl wraps, glass, plastic, and chrome

Can the kit be used for more than just cars?

Yes — the components are versatile for multiple vehicle types and surfaces. The soap is formulated to be gentle yet effective across automotive finishes, and the mechanical protection of the Dirt Trap plus a soft mitt reduces risk on delicate surfaces.

• Suitable for cars, trucks, motorcycles, RVs, ATVs and boats
• Safe on painted surfaces, vinyl wraps, glass and metal trim
• Bucket and lid provide mobile storage for outdoor use

How does the Gamma Seal lid add convenience to the kit?

The threaded Gamma Seal lid lets you securely store liquids and products in the bucket without spills, and it transforms the bucket into a stable seat while washing. It also keeps supplies organized and prevents dust or pests from entering when stored in a garage.

• Seals the bucket for splash-free transport and storage
• Creates a stable, comfortable seat for extended tasks
• Helps keep degreasers and soaps contained and fresh
