Dupli-Color Vinyl & Fabric Spray Gloss Black, 11 oz — Fast-Drying, Durable High-Gloss Finish for Interior Vinyl & Trim

Dupli-Color Vinyl & Fabric Spray in Gloss Black is an 11 oz aerosol designed to renew or customize interior vinyl, plastic and rubber surfaces with a durable, glossy finish.

If your car’s seats, door panels, dash trim or shift boot show wear, fading or mismatched color, this fast-drying aerosol offers a straightforward way to refresh those surfaces without replacing parts. The formula includes adhesion promoters so it bonds to common interior materials and helps prevent flaking. It provides a high-gloss appearance that restores visual uniformity while standing up to everyday use.

How will this spray perform on different interior surfaces?

Dupli-Color Vinyl & Fabric Spray is formulated to adhere to vinyl, many plastics and rubberized trims typically found in automotive interiors. It creates a continuous film that resists separation from the substrate and maintains a glossy look after curing. For best results, prepare surfaces by cleaning and allowing full dry time between coats.

• Bonds to vinyl, plastic and rubber without a separate primer
• Creates a consistent glossy finish suited for dashboards and trim
• Compatible with flexible parts like shift boots and seat bolsters

How long does it take to dry and how durable is the finish?

The coating dries quickly to the touch and cures into a durable top layer that resists cracking, peeling and flaking under normal use. Multiple thin coats speed cure time and reduce runs, while full curing improves abrasion resistance. Allow adequate ventilation and follow recommended drying intervals for optimal durability.

• Fast-drying formula reduces downtime between coats
• Dried finish resists cracking, flaking and peeling
• Multiple thin coats increase hardness and longevity

Do I need primer or special adhesives before spraying?

No separate primer is required—the product contains adhesion promoters to help it stick to typical interior substrates. However, achieving a lasting bond still depends on proper surface preparation: remove grease, dirt and loose particles and scuff glossy areas lightly. For heavily soiled or oil-contaminated surfaces, use a suitable cleaner before painting.

• Built-in adhesion promoter reduces the need for primer
• Clean and scuff surfaces to enhance bonding
• Avoid painting over contaminants for best results

What coverage and finish should I expect from the 11 oz can?

An 11 oz aerosol delivers enough material for targeted interior repairs or small projects like single seats, panels or trim pieces. Coverage varies with surface texture and number of coats, but the gloss formulation delivers a reflective, uniform sheen designed to blend with or enhance factory finishes. Apply in controlled passes to avoid pooling or runs.

• 11 oz can for spot repairs and small to moderate projects
• Gloss black provides a high-shine, factory-like look
• Best applied in several light passes for even coverage
