EvoShield Youth Batter's Elbow Guard SRZ-2 — Seafoam, Gel-to-Shell Molded Protection

The EvoShield SRZ-2™ Youth Batter’s Elbow Guard in Seafoam is a single-strap, gel-to-shell protective elbow guard that molds to a young player’s arm for personalized, pitch-deflecting coverage.

Built for youth hitters who want confident at-bats without bulk, the SRZ-2™ uses air-activated Gel-to-Shell® Technology to turn a flexible pad into a form-fitting shield in about 30 minutes. The guard protects from the elbow up toward the triceps while staying lightweight and comfortable thanks to a 3D interior mesh. Diamond Pro Mesh on the outside delivers a sporty look in Seafoam while durable construction stands up to practice and game use.

How does the SRZ-2™ create a custom fit for a youth arm?

The guard begins as a pliable gel material that, when exposed to air, hardens and molds to the exact contours of the wearer’s arm. This produces a one-to-one fit that reduces gaps and helps disperse impact across the shield rather than concentrating force in one spot.

• Gel-to-Shell® Technology activates with air exposure in approximately 30 minutes.
• Custom molding forms to the elbow, forearm and lower triceps for tailored coverage.
• Single-strap retention keeps the guard secure without constricting movement.

What protection and coverage can a young player expect?

The SRZ-2™ covers from the elbow up toward the triceps, focusing protection where inside pitches commonly make contact. Its firm, body-mapped shell disperses impact energy across the surface instead of allowing concentrated pressure points.

• Engineered dispersion routes impact across the shield for efficient energy distribution.
• 8" x 5" guard dimensions designed for youth arms under 10" bicep circumference.
• Lightweight shell reduces drag so swing mechanics remain natural.

Is the guard comfortable for long practices and games?

Comfort is prioritized through a 3D mesh interior with a debossed honeycomb pattern that reduces sweat buildup and improves airflow. The exterior Diamond Pro Mesh provides durable protection without rubbing or chafing, and the single strap allows easy on/off between innings.

• 3D interior mesh for breathability and a softer contact surface.
• Debossed honeycomb reduces hot spots and improves fit retention.
• External Diamond Pro Mesh offers abrasion resistance with a polished look.

How do I size and apply the youth elbow guard correctly?

Measure the bicep just above the elbow; the youth SRZ-2™ is recommended for arms under 10" circumference. To mold, position the guard, expose it to air, and allow the Gel-to-Shell® material to set into a personalized shape—no heating tools required.

• Recommended for youth arms: measure bicep circumference just above the elbow.
• Guard dimensions: 8" x 5" for appropriate youth coverage.
• Molding process completes in roughly 30 minutes after unpacking and fitting.
