KEWEIYOW Heavy Duty Metal Glue 1.76 oz — Waterproof High-Temp Epoxy for Metal, Plastic & Ceramic Repairs

KEWEIYOW Heavy Duty Metal Glue is a two-part, waterproof, high-temperature epoxy that bonds metals, plastics, ceramics and more for permanent, drillable repairs.

Built for workshop fixes and emergency field repairs, this 1.76 oz metal repair kit includes a 1:1 dual syringe, pusher and scraper so you can mix and apply the exact amount needed. The fast-setting formula achieves handling strength in minutes, fully hardens in 24 hours, and resists heat, oil and chemicals—making it a practical alternative to welding for many maintenance and DIY jobs.

How quickly does the epoxy set and become usable?

The two-component system begins to set within about five minutes after mixing, allowing you to align parts and clamp briefly. It reaches full structural cure in 24 hours, at which point the bond can be drilled, sanded or painted without losing integrity.

• Workable window: roughly 5 minutes after thorough 1:1 mixing
• Full cure time: 24 hours at room temperature
• Post-cure: can be filed, drilled, sanded and painted

What materials and situations is this glue suitable for?

This epoxy bonds a broad variety of surfaces—ferrous and non-ferrous metals, aluminum, stainless steel, many plastics, ceramics, glass and fiberglass—so it’s useful across automotive, marine and household repairs. It’s designed for structural and cosmetic fixes where welding isn’t practical or safe.

• Common uses: mufflers, fuel tanks, radiators, bumpers, headlight brackets
• Also fits: concrete chips, ceramic vases, PVC fittings and fiberglass repairs
• Ideal for: emergency field patches and permanent workshop fixes

How durable and heat-resistant is the repaired joint?

Once cured, the bond has excellent mechanical strength and resists impact, oil and many chemicals. The adhesive stays stable across a wide temperature range, making it suitable for heated components and exterior exposures.

• Measured bond strength up to around 4680 PSI
• Operational temperature range: −65°F to 548°F (−54°C to 287°C)
• Resists oil, most chemicals, and mechanical wear after full cure

What steps and precautions should I follow for best results?

Surface preparation and correct mixing are the most important factors for a reliable repair. Clean, dry and de-grease surfaces, dispense equal parts from the syringe, mix thoroughly, then apply and support parts until initial set and full cure.

• Preparation: remove rust, paint and contaminants; roughen smooth surfaces for better grip
• Mixing: use provided scraper; combine 1:1 by volume and mix about 5 minutes
• Curing: keep parts undisturbed horizontally for 24 hours; allow longer for pressurized items
