Mann Filter Engine Air Filter C 24 137/1 for Volvo — OE-fit, High-Efficiency Media

The Mann Filter C 24 137/1 is a direct-fit engine air filter engineered to protect your Volvo's intake system by trapping dust, pollen and road debris while maintaining airflow.

The C 24 137/1 is an OE-quality replacement air filter designed for vehicle-specific installation in a range of Volvo models. Manufactured by Mann Filter, this element matches the original dimensions and sealing surfaces so installation is straightforward and no modification is required. It helps preserve engine performance and keeps the incoming air cleaner by capturing particulates before they enter the combustion chamber or turbo system.

How does the C 24 137/1 match my Volvo's original parts?

This Mann Filter is produced to the fit, form and function standards expected of aftermarket OE-quality parts. It replicates the original filter's shape, gasket seat and pleat pattern so it sits correctly in the airbox and seals against unfiltered air entry.

• Vehicle-specific fit to replace the factory element without trimming
• Exact outer dimensions and sealing flange for reliable sealing
• Pleated media layout tuned for original airflow characteristics
• Compatible with common Volvo models listed in vehicle fit guides

What materials are used and why do they matter?

The C 24 137/1 uses multi-layer filter media and a stable frame to maintain shape under airflow and engine bay heat. Quality media improves particle capture while minimizing pressure drop, helping the engine breathe efficiently.

• High-efficiency synthetic and cellulose blend media for balanced filtration
• Rigid support frame to prevent collapse or pleat distortion
• Gasket material designed to retain elasticity over service intervals
• Manufacturing controls to ensure consistent filtration performance

How often should I replace this air filter and how easy is installation?

Replacement frequency depends on driving conditions, but most owners replace the air filter during scheduled service intervals or every 12,000–30,000 miles depending on environment. Installation is a simple, tool-light process that typically involves opening the airbox, removing the old element and inserting the new Mann Filter C 24 137/1 in the same orientation.

• Replace sooner if you drive in dusty or off-road conditions
• Simple swap: open airbox, remove clips or screws, swap filter
• Inspect sealing flange and airbox for debris during service
• Follow vehicle manufacturer torque and reassembly notes

Will this filter affect engine performance or fuel economy?

When fitting a correctly sized, high-quality replacement filter like the Mann C 24 137/1, airflow characteristics remain close to the original specification, so there should be no adverse effect on engine response or fuel use. A clean filter ensures consistent intake flow and protects downstream components from contaminants.

• Maintains designed airflow to preserve engine response
• Prevents particulate ingestion that can harm sensors and turbochargers
• Helps sustain fuel and combustion stability over time
• Choose OEM-fit replacements to avoid unexpected restrictions
