Pro Chaser Carburetor for Honda EB5000X EM5000SX EB6500X – Replacement Kit with Gaskets, Solenoid

The Pro Chaser EB5000X carburetor is a drop-in replacement designed to restore reliable fuel delivery for Honda EB5000X/EM5000SX series and many 6.5–7.5 kW portable generators.

When a generator runs rough, floods, or won’t hold an idle, the carburetor is often the culprit. This Pro Chaser assembly replaces Honda OEM #16100-ZE2-734 and compatible aftermarket units, and it ships as a ready-to-install kit with gaskets, filters, electrical safety switch, and mounting hardware. The unit is intended for gas-powered portable generators used in jobsite, recreational, and backup-power settings.

Will this carburetor fit my generator model?

Compatibility covers a range of Honda-model generators as well as many popular aftermarket brands. Check the engine/model number and OEM part reference to confirm fit before ordering.

• Fits Honda models: EB5000X, EM5000SX, EB3500, EB6500, EB6500X, EM3500SX and equivalent engines.
• Compatible with generators using Honda OEM #16100-ZE2-734 carburetor form-factor.
• Also fits select 401cc and 6500–7550W consumer generators (Predator, Generac, Ryobi, DEK series) listed in the specs.

What’s included in the Pro Chaser carburetor kit?

This shipment is a complete service kit aimed at simplifying installation and reducing trips for missing parts. You receive the carburetor plus the common perishables and connectors technicians usually replace during a rebuild.

• 1 carburetor assembly with solenoid
• 3 gaskets, fuel filter, spark plug, fuel hose with 2 clamps
• 1 intake insulator, 1 low-oil safety switch, 1 on/off switch, and 1 air filter

How does installation and setup typically go?

Installation is straightforward for someone comfortable with small engine maintenance and basic tools. The kit arrives pre-assembled; gasket mating surfaces, fuel lines, and safety switch mounting are the main steps to complete.

• Drain fuel or isolate the tank, remove old carburetor, and transfer throttle/choke linkages.
• Fit new gaskets and insulator, attach carburetor, reconnect fuel hose and clamps, mount safety switch and air filter.
• Prime, adjust idle/mixture if needed, and test under light load to verify proper operation.

What performance or reliability changes should I expect?

A proper replacement carburetor restores consistent fuel metering, smoother idling, and easier starts when installed correctly. It’s a practical fix for symptoms like hard starting, stalling, or obvious fuel leaks from the carburetor area.

• Improved idle stability and throttle response when matched to the original engine setup.
• Includes a solenoid for shutdown and a safety switch for low-oil protection, maintaining original safety functions.
• Consumable parts (filter, gaskets, spark plug) lower the chance of follow-up maintenance immediately after installation.

Who this product is for: The Pro Chaser EB5000X carburetor kit is intended for DIY mechanics, fleet managers, rental shops, and homeowners who maintain portable gas generators. It’s a good choice if you need a cost-effective replacement that includes the common installation parts, if your generator matches the listed models or OEM part number, and if you’re comfortable performing basic small-engine repairs. If you’re unsure about compatibility or lack the tools/confidence for installation, consider having a certified small-engine technician perform the swap to ensure correct tuning and safety checks.
