RVGUARD RV skylight replacement 18 x 26 White polycarbonate dome — 100% UV block, ready-to-install with screws

RVGUARD’s 18" x 26" white polycarbonate skylight is a direct replacement skylight that fits standard 14" x 22" openings, blocks 100% UV, and comes with installation screws.

Replace a cloudy, cracked, or leaking rooftop window with this ready-to-install RV skylight designed for recreational vehicles, campers, and trailers. Built from robust polycarbonate, the white dome balances natural light and privacy while resisting impact and long-term yellowing. The package includes the M4*25 screws needed for mounting, so you can swap out your old unit without sourcing extra hardware.

Will this skylight fit my RV’s opening?

This RVGUARD model measures 18" x 26" externally and is made to cover common 14" x 22" roof cutouts when installed. The flange and outer dimensions are engineered to align with most factory openings and aftermarket frames, making it a straightforward replacement in many vehicle models.

• Outer dimension: 18" x 26" x 4" that mates to standard 14" x 22" roof openings
• Includes M4*25 screws for direct mounting—no additional fasteners required
• Universal design compatible with most RV and camper rooftops

How much light and UV protection does the white dome provide?

The white dome offers about 40% light transmission, producing soft, diffused daylight that reduces glare and protects privacy. It also blocks 100% of UV rays, helping prevent fading of interior surfaces and reducing heat gain from the sun.

• 40% light transmission for gentler interior illumination
• 0% UV transmission—protects upholstery and skin from UV exposure
• Available in multiple colors if you want alternate light levels or finishes

Is the skylight durable enough for road and weather exposure?

Constructed from high-grade polycarbonate, the dome resists impact, hail, and wind better than many acrylic alternatives. The material is weather-resistant with anti-aging performance designed to limit yellowing and maintain clarity for up to a decade under normal use.

• Premium polycarbonate for high tensile strength and impact resistance
• Engineered to withstand harsh weather and road debris
• Up to 10 years of anti-yellowing performance for lasting clarity

What should I avoid during installation and care?

Avoid acid-based adhesives and cleaners that can chemically react with polycarbonate and weaken the dome. Use mild soap or manufacturer-recommended cleaners and follow torque specs for the included screws to prevent over-tightening or stress cracks.

• Do not use acid-based adhesives or harsh solvents
• Clean with mild soap and water; avoid abrasive pads
• Use the supplied M4*25 screws and torque gently to secure the flange
