XMK RV Skylight Replacement Bundle — 18" x 26" Outer Dome for 14" x 22" Opening, Dual Polycarbonate Domes with UV Coat

The XMK RV Skylight Replacement Bundle is a matched inner-and-outer dome set designed to replace standard 14" x 22" roof openings, restoring daylight, weather protection, and improved insulation for RVs and travel trailers.

If your RV skylight is cracked, yellowed, or leaking, this XMK bundle replaces both the inner and outer domes with thicker polycarbonate parts and predrilled mounting holes for easier installation. The paired domes trap air between them to reduce heat transfer while the outer dome’s anti-UV coating helps slow sun damage to interior surfaces. Choose smoke gray, white, or clear covers depending on how much light and glare control you want.

How does the dual-dome design help control temperature and light?

The bundle's inner and outer domes create an insulating air gap that lowers heat flow through the roof compared with a single thin cover. The outer dome also includes an anti-UV surface treatment that reduces solar degradation and helps protect fabrics and plastics inside your RV. Color choices allow you to balance brightness and glare control to suit your climate and preferences.

• Air gap between domes reduces heat transfer and drafts.
• Anti-UV coating on outer dome limits sun damage to interiors.
• Smoke, white, and clear options for tailored light control.

Will this fit my RV and what are the exact dimensions?

This set is made to replace standard 14" x 22" roof openings and fits ceiling thicknesses greater than 4". The outer dome's flange measures 26" x 18" to cover the cutout and provide mounting surface; the inner flange fits the inside ceiling contour. Check your existing opening and flange clearance before ordering to ensure compatibility.

• Fits standard 14" x 22" skylight openings (ceiling > 4").
• Outer dome dimensions: 14" x 22" x 4"; outer flange 26" x 18".
• Inner dome dimensions: 14" x 22" x 4"; inner flange 16" x 23 7/8".

How durable is the XMK skylight bundle and will it resist weathering?

Both inner and outer domes are manufactured from thicker polycarbonate for improved impact resistance and longevity compared with thin acrylic covers. The outer dome’s anti-UV coating slows yellowing and material breakdown from sun exposure, helping the skylight maintain clarity and strength across seasons. These features make the set suitable for campers, travel trailers, food trucks, and similar vehicles exposed to varied weather.

• Thicker polycarbonate construction for better impact resistance.
• UV-coated outer dome to reduce yellowing and sun damage.
• Made to withstand typical road and camping weather conditions.

What’s included and how hard is installation?

The XMK bundle ships with both inner and outer domes, a tube of white self-leveling lap sealant, and mounting screws with predrilled holes to simplify assembly. The predrilled pattern provides suggested mounting points while leaving space for custom hole placement if needed. Basic DIY skills, a few hand tools, and attention to sealant application are usually all that’s required to complete the swap.

• Includes inner and outer domes, sealant tube, and mounting screws.
• Predrilled holes provided; additional drilling options reserved.
• Typical install requires common hand tools and sealant application.

Who this is for: The XMK RV Skylight Replacement Bundle is meant for RV owners, camper renovators, food truck operators, and travel trailer DIYers who need a robust replacement that restores light, prevents leaks, and improves thermal performance. Pick smoke gray for glare and heat control, white to maximize diffused light, or clear for the brightest interior daylight. If you want a long-lasting, impact-resistant skylight solution that fits a standard 14" x 22" opening and comes ready to mount, this set addresses those needs without requiring specialized parts or custom fabrication.
