StaunchAuto Engine & Cabin Air Filter Combo — Rogue 2.5L 2014–2020, Activated-Carbon Cabin

StaunchAuto's Engine & Cabin Air Filter Combo replaces CA11858 and CF11854 to restore cleaner intake air for the engine and remove odors, dust, and pollutants from the cabin in compatible Rogue and Qashqai models.

These two replacement filters are engineered for Nissan Rogue 2.5L (2014–2020) along with several related models, bringing multi-layer filtration to both engine intake and interior ventilation. The engine filter uses durable filter paper and a robust ABS frame to prolong service life, while the cabin filter employs coconut-shell activated carbon and a double-layer media to reduce odors and trap fine particles. Together they aim to improve airflow efficiency, lower HVAC noise, and protect engine components from debris.

Which vehicles and model years does this filter combo fit?

This kit is designed to fit Nissan Rogue and related platform vehicles within the listed years and engine types. Confirm compatibility by matching your vehicle's engine code and the OEM part numbers before purchase.

• Fits Rogue 2.5L (2014–2020)
• Compatible with Rogue 2.0L Hybrid (2017–2019)
• Works for Rogue Sport 2.0L (2017–2022) and Qashqai 2.0L (2017–2023)
• Replaces engine filter CA11858 and cabin filter CF11854

How do these filters improve engine and cabin performance?

The engine element captures dust and contaminants before they can enter the intake, helping to keep sensors and combustion chambers cleaner. The cabin filter’s activated carbon layer adsorbs odors and gaseous pollutants while its particle media removes allergens and fine dust, improving air quality inside the car.

• Multi-layer media traps particles and impurities
• Activated carbon reduces odors and volatile compounds
• ABS-framed engine filter resists deformation and lasts longer
• Lower HVAC resistance for smoother airflow and reduced noise

What maintenance schedule and savings can owners expect?

Replacing these filters on a regular schedule reduces strain on the engine and air system while maintaining air quality. StaunchAuto recommends a replacement interval to balance performance and cost, with easy DIY swaps for many owners.

• Suggested replacement every 6 months or about 12,000 miles
• Prevents buildup that can reduce fuel efficiency and HVAC output
• Lower chance of costly repairs due to contaminated intake components
• Affordable preventative maintenance compared with major repairs

Will installing these filters affect HVAC noise or airflow?

The cabin filter’s low-resistance design aims to keep airflow steady while the engine filter balances filtration and intake efficiency. Reduced resistance helps the HVAC system run more quietly and prevents rattling or reduced air volume commonly caused by clogged filters.

• Low-resistance structure maintains air conditioning volume
• Filters designed to minimize rattles and turbulence in ducts
• Engine intake remains unobstructed for stable performance
• Improves interior comfort by keeping fresh air flowing

Who this is for: This StaunchAuto combo is aimed at Nissan Rogue, Rogue Sport, Qashqai owners and DIY car maintainers who want an economical, higher-durability replacement for OEM CA11858 engine and CF11854 cabin filters. It’s suitable for drivers concerned about interior air quality, reducing odors, and prolonging engine component life. If you want straightforward fitment, better filtration than basic aftermarket options, and easy swap intervals that help avoid costly downstream repairs, this pair is a practical choice.
