TecoTek 7-Piece 3/8-Inch Drive Magnetic Swivel Spark Plug Socket Set, Thin-Wall CR-V Sockets, 6/12-Point

TecoTek's 7-piece 3/8" drive magnetic swivel spark plug socket set is a compact, heat-treated chrome vanadium kit designed to securely remove and install spark plugs in tight engine bays.

This set groups seven thin-wall sockets, each built from hardened CR-V steel with a polished corrosion-resistant finish, into a durable storage case. The combination of strong internal magnets and a swivel socket design helps retain spark plugs during removal and reach angled or recessed spark plugs without stressing extensions or connectors. The kit includes multiple common sizes for domestic and import engines and is aimed at both home mechanics and professionals who work on passenger cars, motorcycles, and light trucks.

What sizes and socket types come in this TecoTek set?

The kit contains seven thin-wall sockets in both 6-point and 12-point profiles to match different plug hex shapes and access requirements. Sizes span metric and SAE measurements commonly found on automotive spark plugs so you can tackle a wide range of vehicles without swapping to a separate set.

• 6-point sockets: 5/8" and 13/16" for traditional hex fits.
• 12-point sockets: 14mm (4"), 5/8" (4"), 9/16" (6"), 13/16" (6"), 5/8" (11") for deeper or restricted locations.
• 3/8" drive compatibility for standard ratchets and extensions.

How does the magnetic and swivel design improve spark plug work?

The magnetic core captures and holds the spark plug from the socket head, preventing drops during removal or installation. The swivel feature on several sockets allows the tool to align with angled plug wells, reducing force on the plug and making it easier to work around ignition wires and engine components.

• Heavy-duty magnet secures plugs without fragile rubber inserts.
• Swivel joint maintains socket contact in tight or offset wells.
• Thin-wall construction slides between closely spaced engine components.
• Reduced risk of cross-threading when guiding plugs into position.

Are these sockets durable and suitable for professional use?

Each socket is forged from heat-treated chrome vanadium (CR-V) and finished with a mirror polish to resist corrosion, meeting ANSI performance expectations. The materials and construction deliver consistent torque transfer and long-term wear resistance for frequent garage or shop use.

• Heat-treated CR-V steel for strength and longevity.
• Corrosion-resistant mirror polish finish for easier cleaning.
• 6-point and 12-point options to minimize rounding of hex heads.
• One-year quality guarantee and organized carry case for transport.

What accessories and storage solutions are included?

The set arrives in a heavy-duty molded case that keeps sockets organized, protected, and easy to carry to the job. Several socket lengths let you select the right reach without adding extra extensions, simplifying workflow and reducing tool clutter.

• Robust storage case with labeled slots for each socket.
• Varied socket lengths (4", 6", 11") included to match plug depth.
• Compact layout suitable for mobile toolboxes and garage shelves.

Who is this for: The TecoTek 7-piece magnetic swivel spark plug socket set is made for DIY enthusiasts, mobile mechanics, and professional technicians who need reliable, thin-wall sockets for tight spaces. If you service passenger cars, motorcycles, or light trucks and often replace or inspect ignition plugs, this kit offers the right combination of sizes, magnetic retention, and swivel access to speed up spark plug service while reducing the chance of dropped or damaged plugs.
