VViViD Air-Tint Headlight & Taillight Tint Film 16x48" Smoke Black — Conformable, Air-Release

This film kit gives you a durable, conformable vinyl layer that reduces light glare and creates a consistent smoked appearance across headlights and taillights. The sheet is large enough to cover most lamp assemblies and can be trimmed to match curves and openings. The included hard yellow detailer squeegee and two black felt safety edge decals help with placement and edge finishing; the material also incorporates an air-release adhesive pattern for bubble-free application.

How does this film handle curved or complex light housings?

The VViViD Air-Tint vinyl is engineered to stretch and conform around tight radii and compound curves common on modern lamp assemblies. You can heat-form the film for smoother fitment and get even coverage across recesses and bezels without lifting.

• High-stretch vinyl for deep contours
• Air-release backing reduces trapped bubbles
• Trim-to-fit sheet covers most OEM lamp shapes

Will the tint resist scratches, dirt, and weather?

The product uses a robust vinyl formulation designed to stand up to everyday road grime, water exposure, and light abrasions. While it protects the underlying lens from minor scuffs and soiling, avoid aggressive chemical cleaners and sharp tools when maintaining the surface.

• Scratch- and dirt-resistant top layer
• Water-resistant adhesive and finish
• Lasting color stability with normal outdoor use

What tools and steps are included to make installation easier?

The kit ships with a hard yellow detailer squeegee for smoothing and two felt safety edge decals to protect trimmed edges during finishing. The air-release backing assists with repositioning and helps eliminate small bubbles, so installations often need only basic handheld tools and a heat source for shaping.

• One hard yellow detailer squeegee for smoothing
• Two black felt safety edge decals for clean edges
• Air-release adhesive backing for repositioning and bubble control

Can I use this on other clear or colored lenses around the vehicle?

Yes — the film is suitable for a variety of auto lenses, including side marker lights, reflectors, and interior lens surfaces, as long as the substrate is clean and non-porous. Always test a small area first and follow local regulations regarding required light output and visibility.

• Compatible with most plastic and glass lamp lenses
• Trim-to-fit sheet allows multi-lens projects from a single kit
• Perform a small compatibility test before full application
