VViViD ColorFusion PPF Paint Protection Film Roll — Gloss Piano Black 1ft x 5ft, Self-Healing & Heat-Activated Adhesive

ColorFusion PPF by VViViD is a premium gloss piano black paint protection film in a 1ft x 5ft roll that combines vibrant color with durable self-healing protection for automotive surfaces.

Engineered as a hybrid paint protection film and colored wrap, ColorFusion blends the hard-wearing advantages of PPF with deep, embedded gloss color to protect and enhance your vehicle’s finish. This 1ft x 5ft roll in gloss piano black is designed for trims, accent panels, mirrors, bumpers, and other areas where a high-gloss color and paint-safe protection matter. The film installs with either dry or wet methods depending on the application area and features VViViD’s heat-activated removable adhesive and advanced self-healing top layer.

How does ColorFusion protect vehicle paint without harming factory finishes?

ColorFusion uses a paint-safe, heat-activated adhesive formulated to remove cleanly without attacking clearcoats or topcoat finishes. The film’s construction adds a sacrificial layer over the paint, taking everyday abrasions and light scratches while preserving the original surface beneath.

• Removable, non-reactive adhesive engineered for factory paint safety.
• Self-healing topcoat that reduces visible scuffs with gentle heat.
• Embedded color layer to avoid surface fading and peeling.
• Suitable for frequent detailing and normal wash cycles.

Will this 1ft x 5ft roll work for my installation — dry or wet?

The roll size is ideal for small panels, accent trims, mirror caps, and localized repairs. VViViD recommends wet application for large flat areas or low-stretch panels to reduce bubbles and installation errors, while dry application is convenient for small, curved pieces and quick installs.

• Use wet application for hoods, roofs, and broad flat surfaces to limit bubbles.
• Dry apply for mirrors, door accents, and small curves to speed installation.
• Air-channel adhesive reduces required solution compared to standard PPF.
• Heat activation helps seat the adhesive and improve edge sealing.

How durable and long-lasting is the gloss piano black finish?

ColorFusion’s gloss piano black finish is color-embedded inside the film, not just printed on the surface, which improves resistance to UV fading and surface discoloration. Combined with the self-healing topcoat and durable film body, you’ll retain high-gloss shine and protection significantly longer than conventional wraps.

• Deep-embedded pigment for long-term color stability.
• Self-healing layer restores light scratches with applied heat.
• Engineered to resist yellowing, chalking, and UV degradation.
• Twice the longevity of many standard wrap films under similar conditions.

What are the installation and maintenance tips for best results?

Proper surface prep, correct application method, and gentle heat for edge sealing will yield a professional finish. After installation, routine washing with automotive-safe products and occasional heat activation for scratch repair will keep the film looking its best.

• Clean surface thoroughly; remove wax, grease, and contaminants before applying.
• Prefer wet application on larger or flatter panels to minimize errors.
• Use a heat gun to activate adhesive and encourage the self-healing topcoat.
• Avoid abrasive polishes; use pH-neutral car shampoos and soft microfiber towels.

Who is this for? ColorFusion PPF in gloss piano black is aimed at car owners, detailers, and wrap installers who want a colored protection film that looks like a high-gloss wrap but performs like premium PPF. It’s a great choice for accent work, small repairs, and protective color upgrades where paint safety, color depth, and easy maintenance are priorities.
