VViViD Vinyl Detailing Wrap Tape 2in x 20ft — Silver Chrome, Air‑Release Adhesive & Repositionable

This narrow-width vinyl tape gives car enthusiasts, detailers, and crafters an easy way to add metallic accents to trim, badges, vents, and architectural features. The silver chrome film is designed for hand application: it lifts, repositions, and slices cleanly, so you can install precise stripes, edge highlights, or small panels without professional tools. With a durable surface rated for years of use, it resists scratches and grime while maintaining a bright mirror effect.

How does this tape make trim upgrades simpler?

The 2" width is sized for targeted work where full sheets are impractical. The film’s pressure-sensitive adhesive includes air-release channels that reduce trapped air, so you get a smooth finish faster. Its liftable and repositionable nature gives you room to correct placement before final bonding.

• 2" roll width for precise stripes and edging
• Air-release adhesive minimizes bubbles
• Repositionable for alignment adjustments
• Sliceable for clean edge finishing

Will the silver chrome look last outdoors?

The wrap is manufactured to resist fading and cracking under normal exterior conditions; the chrome appearance stays reflective for years. Its scratch- and grime-resistant coating helps preserve the finish through washing and light wear, although high-impact conditions can still cause damage over time.

• Durable surface resists scratches
• Grime-resistant for easier cleaning
• UV-stable formulation for long-term reflectivity
• Expected service life of several years with proper care

What tools and steps are needed for a successful install?

Basic hand tools and steady technique are sufficient for most installs. A squeegee or soft applicator, a sharp knife for trimming, and a heat source for tight curves will help achieve professional results. The film’s adhesive performs well at typical working temperatures and allows small adjustments before full set.

• Use a soft squeegee to remove air pockets
• Trim excess with a hobby knife for crisp edges
• Apply gentle heat for conforming around curves
• Work on a clean, dry surface for best adhesion

How is this roll suited for automotive vs. architectural projects?

The 2" x 20ft size balances coverage and control for both vehicle accents and interior or exterior architectural details. Automotive users will appreciate the chrome accenting of trim, mirrors, and emblems, while architects and installers can use the roll for metallic highlights on furniture, signage, or hard surfaces.

• Auto: mirror accents, trim strips, emblems
• Home & architecture: edge highlights, hardware accents
• Crafting: model detailing and metallic inlays
• Generous 20ft length for multiple small projects

Who this is for: This VViViD Silver Chrome 2" x 20ft roll is ideal for do-it-yourself car modifiers, professional detailers needing quick trim solutions, and designers who want metallic accents without painting or plating. If you want a manageable width for precise lines, a forgiving adhesive that prevents bubbles, and a reflective chrome finish built to last, this roll provides a practical, cost-effective option.
