WanDwel Aluminum RV Plumbing Vent Cap, Black 1-Pack — Aluminum, Bug Screen & Full Kit

WanDwel9Aluminum RV Plumbing Vent Cap is a durable, weatherproof roof vent cover with a built-in bug screen and full installation kit designed to protect and seal RV sewer vents.

This low-profile vent cap replaces fragile plastic tops with a corrosion-resistant aluminum assembly that resists UV, cracking, and temperature swings. It mounts directly to standard RV vent pipes and includes stainless screws and butyl tape so you can finish the job in one outing. The integrated mesh and rubber plugs keep pests and moisture out while the vent design allows sewer gases to vent away from living spaces.

How does this vent cap stand up to weather and wear?

The aluminum construction avoids the brittleness and yellowing common to plastic vent covers, holding its shape across hot, cold, and wet conditions. A black finish reduces visible dirt while blending with most RV roofs. Two rubber terminal plugs and the top cover fasteners add resistance against rain intrusion and wind uplift.

• Premium aluminum body resists cracks, UV and temperature extremes.
• Dual screw-retained top prevents accidental displacement from branches or highway wind.
• Rubber plugs and tight seams reduce water entry during storms.
• Black finish hides grime and coordinates with dark roof tones.

Will this fit my RV vent pipe and how easy is installation?

The cap accommodates a wide range of common pipe sizes and is designed to replace most factory vent covers without modification. The package includes everything needed to seal and secure the unit so installation is straightforward for a DIYer. Pre-drilled holes and a pre-assembled screen speed alignment and reduce guesswork.

• Inner diameter 3.8" with 5.3" base diameter and 3" overall height.
• Fits pipes from 1" to 2-3/8" in diameter—typical for campers and motorhomes.
• Includes six stainless-steel screws and a 0.5" x 15.7" roll of butyl sealant tape.
• Top cover pre-assembled with mesh for quicker mounting and alignment.

How does the vent cap help control odors and keep debris out?

The vent cap guides sewer gases upward and away from the RV interior while the integrated mesh prevents leaves, insects and other debris from entering the pipe. Two rubber terminal plugs add extra defense against water intrusion that can trap organic matter and create odors. The result is improved airflow and less chance of blockages that cause smells.

• Built-in mesh screen blocks insects and coarse debris without restricting flow.
• Vent geometry channels gases out of the roof area effectively.
• Rubber plugs reduce water pooling inside the vent, limiting odor sources.
• Durable materials help maintain performance season after season.
