VViViD Clear Headlight Protective Film 17.9" x 54" 2-Roll Pack — Extra-Wide, Scratch & UV-Resistant

VViViD Clear Extra-Wide Headlight Protective Tint Vinyl is a reusable-style, wet-apply film that shields and styles headlights and taillights without replacing them.

This extra-wide, clear headlight protective film from VViViD is designed to preserve lens clarity while adding a tough, transparent barrier against everyday wear. Supplied as two wide rolls (17.9" x 54" each), the film stretches to follow complex curves, adheres with an air-release adhesive to reduce bubbles, and resists scratches, grime, UV exposure and water—making it a practical option for drivers who want to protect or refresh automotive lights without the cost of lens restoration or replacement.

How does this vinyl protect headlights from daily damage?

The VViViD clear film creates a sacrificial layer over the original lens to absorb light scuffs and contaminants. It helps limit surface abrasion and blocks ultraviolet exposure that can accelerate hazing, while its water-resistant finish sheds moisture to keep optics clearer for longer.

• Scratch-resistant surface reduces light scuffs from small impacts
• UV-resistant coating helps slow yellowing and hazing of lenses
• Water-resistant finish prevents standing moisture and grime buildup
• Air-release adhesive minimizes installation bubbles for a smooth seal

Will the extra-wide size fit complex or oversized headlights?

The two 17.9" x 54" rolls are intentionally large so you can cover a single oversized lens or cut multiple templates for different vehicles. The film stretches and conforms to irregular shapes, allowing you to trim around mounting points and curves for a custom fit.

• 17.9" width covers most modern headlight and tail light contours
• Flexible, stretchable vinyl conforms to tight radii and compound curves
• Easy-to-trim material lets you tailor coverage without waste
• Two-roll pack provides extra material for multiple lights or future repairs

How easy is installation for a DIY enthusiast?

VViViD designed the film for wet-apply installations suitable for beginners and experienced installers alike. The air-release adhesive on the backing reduces trapped air pockets, and with basic tools—squeegee, heat gun or hair dryer, and a sharp blade—you can achieve a smooth, long-lasting application.

• Air-release adhesive allows repositioning and bubble-free smoothing
• Wet-apply method gives time to adjust alignment during fitting
• Heat helps the vinyl stretch around curves without tearing
• Two rolls give room for practice cuts or reapplications if needed

What maintenance or longevity can I expect from the film?

Once applied correctly, the protective vinyl requires minimal upkeep: periodic washing and gentle care will preserve appearance and function. The film is engineered to withstand common road contaminants; however, extreme impacts or deep scratches may still affect the outer layer and could require patching or replacement.

• Wash with mild soap and water; avoid harsh solvents
• Inspect annually for chips or peeling and re-seal edges if necessary
• Resists dirt and grime but may need replacement after heavy wear
• Two-roll supply lets you replace sections without buying new packs

Who is this for? Drivers who want to protect or rejuvenate headlights and taillights affordably and with low effort will appreciate VViViD's extra-wide clear protective film. It's ideal for car enthusiasts, DIY detailers, fleet vehicles, and owners of older cars seeking to delay costly lens restoration or replacement. If you need large coverage, want an easy wet-apply installation, and prefer a transparent finish that preserves original light output, this two-roll VViViD pack is a practical choice.
