Bosch QuietCast Premium Ceramic Front Brake Pads BC785 — Low Dust, Quiet Stopping (Axle Set)

The BOSCH BC785 QuietCast Premium Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set is a front-axle replacement kit engineered to deliver quiet stopping power, low dust, and long-lasting corrosion resistance for compatible trucks and SUVs.

Built from Bosch’s decades-long experience in OE braking systems, the QuietCast BC785 pair combines a proprietary ceramic friction blend with corrosion-resistant backing plates and OE-style hardware so you get consistent performance and a straightforward install. Each set covers one axle (two wheels) and ships with the necessary hardware and synthetic lubricant where applicable. Verify vehicle fitment before purchase, since trim or engine options can affect compatibility.

How do these pads reduce noise and vibration during braking?

The BC785 uses Bosch’s Molded Shim Technology (MST) and pre-attached multilayer rubber-core shims to minimize noise and absorb vibration. This design bonds the rubber to steel for improved damping and a secure fit that resists separation under stress.

• Molded Shim Technology (MST) for integrated noise control
• Pre-attached multilayer rubber-core shims to dampen vibration
• OE-style fit and chamfers to prevent edge chatter

What kind of stopping performance and dust levels should I expect?

QuietCast ceramic friction material is engineered to provide dependable stopping power across a wide range of temperatures, while producing lower airborne dust than many semi-metallic pads. The formulation focuses on predictable pedal feel and cleaner wheel appearance over time.

• Ceramic friction mix for stable performance and consistent pedal feedback
• Low-dust operation helps wheels stay cleaner between services
• Tested for robust performance suitable for everyday driving and towing loads within vehicle specs

How does Bosch protect the pad from rust and ensure a durable installation?

Backing plates are finished with a corrosion-resistant powder coat to slow rust and extend service life. The pads also include OE-style slots, chamfers, and where applicable a hardware kit and synthetic lubricant to reduce sliding resistance and ensure even wear.

• Powder-coated backing plates for enhanced corrosion protection
• OE-style slots/chamfers improve fit and reduce edge cracking
• Hardware kit plus lubricant (when provided) for smoother caliper operation

What vehicles are these pads compatible with and how do I verify fit?

The BC785 is intended for select GM trucks and SUVs from model years in the early 2000s—examples include Escalade, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon, Sierra, and certain Express and Savana vans, plus Hummer H2. Because specific trims and axle configurations vary, always confirm fit using the store’s vehicle fitment tool or by comparing OEM part references.

• Designed for front axle replacement on specified GM trucks and SUVs
• Includes pads for two wheels (one axle) and hardware where applicable
• Verify fitment with the vehicle selector or OEM part number before ordering

Who is this for: The BOSCH BC785 QuietCast set is aimed at owners of compatible GM trucks, SUVs, and vans who want a long-lasting, low-noise ceramic pad with OE-quality features. It’s well suited to daily drivers, light towing duties, and anyone seeking reduced brake dust and reliable braking without upgrading to heavy-duty or performance-only compounds. Installers and DIY mechanics will appreciate the included hardware and lubricant when available, but always check fitment and tools required before beginning service.
