Bosch QuietCast Premium Ceramic Rear Disc Brake Pads — 1 Axle, Low-Dust & Corrosion-Resistant

BOSCH QuietCast BC1194 rear ceramic disc brake pads are a premium OE-style replacement set engineered for quieter stopping, reduced dust, and long-lasting corrosion resistance.

Designed by Bosch — a longtime supplier of braking components to Asian, domestic, and European automakers — the QuietCast line blends ceramic friction material with Bosch’s Molded Shim Technology and rust-resistant backing plates. This rear axle kit includes two pads (one axle), installation hardware where applicable, and synthetic lubricant to minimize drag at sliding contact points. Verify vehicle compatibility with the fit tool before ordering, since trim and model year can affect fitment.

How do these pads reduce noise and vibration?

The QuietCast pads use Bosch’s Molded Shim Technology (MST) and OE-style multilayer rubber core shims to absorb and dampen vibration between the pad and caliper. That engineered shim bond lowers audible noise while preserving strong braking feel.

• Pre-attached multilayer rubber-core shims for improved damping
• Molded Shim Technology for a stronger rubber-to-steel bond
• OE-style slots and chamfers to reduce uneven wear and noise

What kind of braking performance and dust should I expect?

QuietCast pads use a proprietary ceramic formulation specifically tuned to deliver consistent friction and dependable stopping power without excessive brake dust. You’ll get stable pedal response and cleaner wheels compared with many semi-metallic pads.

• Ceramic friction material engineered for steady stopping force
• Low-dust operation to keep wheels cleaner over time
• Thorough in-house testing by Bosch engineers for predictable performance

Will these pads resist corrosion and fit reliably?

Backing plates are powder-coated to help prevent rust and promote longer service life, while slots and chamfers mirror OE design for proper fit and function. The set includes hardware where applicable and a synthetic lubricant to reduce binding at sliding interfaces.

• Powder-coated backing plates for improved corrosion resistance
• OE-style slots and chamfers for correct fit and quieter operation
• Hardware kit and synthetic lubricant included where specified

Which vehicles are compatible with the BC1194 rear pad set?

This rear pad set fits select full-size GM trucks and SUVs from the late 2000s to mid-2010s. Common compatible models include various Cadillac Escalade and Chevrolet/GMC models, but exact fit depends on model year and trim level — always confirm with the vehicle fit checker.
